Makes me want to try my hand duplicating the logo…
Cut-paper postcard created for the swapbot swap: "C+P Stripes."
A change of pace for me: just random imagery. I pulled out five scraps that happened to be on my work table: art deco design, robots, photo of red amaryllis, strawberries, and newspaper mélange, and cut them into strips. Then I used a random number generator to determine what order they'd be pasted down in. I do like randomness!

This is a Cover of a holiday brochure from 1952 advertising South Shields and Marsden Bay.

This photograph is part of a set that has been created to celebrate the opening of South Tyneside Council’s new leisure centre, Haven Point, on 28 October. It focuses in particular on life along the foreshore at South Shields during the 1950s but also includes a few images from further down the coast.
South Shields has long been a popular seaside resort and also has a proud industrial heritage. Times have changed, though, and many of the old industries such as shipbuilding and coal mining have disappeared. Rather than stand still and accept this change in fortunes, South Tyneside Council is pressing ahead with an ambitious vision to transform the Foreshore, Town Centre and Riverside areas into vibrant destinations. Haven Point is a key part of this change.
Tyne & Wear Archives and South Tyneside Local Studies Library have a vital role to play in this. As South Shields is regenerated and forever changed the Archives and Local Studies serve as its memory. We keep alive a window into the town’s past, preserving the history of people, places and industries that no longer exist. South Shields must look forward but its sense of direction will be lost if it forgets where it came from.

a little change from photos of snow and ice in the Antarctic...... more snow here...and then the next day... a good sunrise...two houses near us....with sunrise views, looking south and west...we cannot easily see much sunrise in the east because of all the trees... I was happy to get this spread-out light & colour the other day.

DIE NEUE FOTOSCHULE
Trommelwirbel, holla, die "Fotoschule" ist endlich raus! Knapp 500 Seiten sind es geworden, Offsetdruck, 25 Workshop-Kapitel und -Shootings, 40 Praxisbeispiele im Text, 64 Aufgaben mit Lösungen im Anhang, Offset-Druck und Fadenbindung. Es ist dann doch etwas umfangreicher geworden als anfangs gedacht. :-) :-)

Traveling to Torres del Paine.
Cerro Castillo is a hamlet (Spanish: caserÃo) southeast of Torres del Paine National Park, and is the head of Torres del Paine commune, in Magallanes Region.
The village is close to the Argentine border. The Chilean customs and immigration offices serving the border crossing (officially known as RÃo Don Guillermo) are located in the village.
Can be played with the similar rules of the other Lego board games to capture the most jewels. Jewels can be placed randomly and board can also be modified randomly for every game.
While deconstructing this and had the maze idea.

Release 59 for the OneDayOneArtwork and OneDayOnePicture project. I just purchased an analog infra-red (IR) filter - the kind of filter you screw on your lens :-). Going out and taking pictures of normal thinks gives you a new perspective.
The post processing for this Picture was done with Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CC, to create this RED look. The picture was taken with my Canon EOS 40D in Berlin at the "Platz des 18 März".
