I'm testing out the Nikon TC-20EIII teleconverter. So far I am pleased with the sharpness of the photos. This is shot with my 300mm f4 lens, hand held, manual focus.

endurance races look and sound simple but they are not. It is not only a test of the horse but the rider as well. Each round separates the chaff from the wheat and only ones with good endurance and will power make it through.

Testing A-setting for fill light outdoors Pentax K-1, FA* 2.8 80-200mm. Two speedlights. 125s F/8. JPGs with no editing except crop and resize. I was using a Godox X-Pro(P) trigger for the Godox flash. A non-TTL cord for the Pentax flash.
PS: In the real world it's not enough to measure the insident light in the model face/in the shadow. You must measure the light at the background as well. The background should rule the shutter speed and aperture. The flash light should add some light to the ambient light, hitting the model. So the flash (key light) should match the shooting aperture.

Got the results from my exam in the mail today... and I passed! I am an official CMP, (that's a certified meeting professional for those not in the meetings world). I OWNED that test! Well, actually after months of classes and studying and pretty much not having a summer, I was confident I had failed. I may be the worst test taker in the world. In college I would actually fall asleep during my tests after staying up all night worrying about it. This process felt like college all over again. I may not have owned the test, but who cares... I PASSED! IT'S OVER! WHEW!

Test shot using new back-up mobile phone, the LG Optimus Chat. This was trying out Vignette Demo (Android) so resolution was only 0.3. Has to be said, there's something oddly satisfying about taking toy cam shots on a bubble gum, very plasticky phone... :)

My first attempt using my borrowed "Opus OPL-M40 40WS AC Slave Flashes" from the great, Sir Jack Hillman.
Just got Peter to stand in the frame as I testing some different setups.
Setup: One flash on the ground behind him, pointing up , and one over my head pointing down.
I hate studying.
I also hate the fact that studying reduces the time i can spend on my 365 picture.
Its been a month since i first started (well..30 days.)
Testing my new mini slave flash (Morris mini Slave Flash Plus), to try and remove the shadow created by having just one flash.
This photo is the "after", using both the on-camera flash and the slave.

Testing a remote setup for a future shoot. Camera on magic arm attached to the fork and right grip. Pocket wizards triggered by button located on the left hand side of the handlebar. PW trigger both camera and two remote flashes on for at the camera right at 1/2 power and one as a rimlight behind me (rider) at 1/1. f16/0,5 sec. Remote PW on 0,43 second delay to get rear curtain sync. flash placement was a bit tricky as was the timing of the delay.
