I know this isn't a view camera, but I thought it prudent to test out the lens, my construction technique and also learn the laser cutter before making the view camera.

Went out with the Sigma 150-500 just to test about its capability. Its the non OS version and given a cloudy day I guess this one turned out not too bad.

Test print off the Big Corexy after getting the wires connected. I tracked the few pauses down to the buffer running out so I increased it from the default 16.
The bench seat conceals a storage locker underneath that can be fitted with a fish box insert. Or, it can be used for storage. If you look closely you can see the left seat base extends under the right. This way, if you lift the left both come up, if you lift the right only a single comes up.

For those who wanted more macro shots with the Pentax D-FA 100 f/2.8 Macro WR, here are my "other Corvettes," all 1:24 scale models of my 2009 Cyber Gray Metallic Corvette Z51 Coupe. I only have one of the 1:1 scale version. ;)
I was going to clean the car, blowing out the dust and lint as well as rubbing off any oil and grime. But I figured it would be a better test for the lens to leave the dirt on it. If I was trying to make it look more real, I would have cleaned it.
This was taken from well under a foot away.
