Before giving an apple to Sister, in needs to be tested.

Just a test. The torso and face are just printed on plain paper and taped on. I bought a small bottle of purple paint from a hobby store last night, but I'm afraid it's too light. The only purples they had in darker hues were glittery (for model cars).
However, I think there was a nice effect achieved when I scraped off some of the lines in the hair - perhaps a cartoony feel?
Anna Ween Petersen prøver vester. Denne seilervesten likte hun best.

I realized I never posted pics of the FR-S test drive I did back in June. It was held in the parking lot of the new Giants' Stadium. It was kind of a fun event, I suppose, except we only got one lap around the auto-cross course. I've been on roller coasters that lasted longer. Another thing is that the cars were riding on 225 wide tires and sitting on TRD springs and wheels. Still, they had one sitting out that we could sit in and get to know the interior, which I thought was decent for a tiny sports car. I can't wait to test drive one of these for real on a real road.
This is part of the tests that i made with my new Tamron 28-75.

Today I made some testshots with my new selfmade Pinhole camera, the PinOli 4X5. Just to test that it is working and has no light leaks and to test some exposuretimes.
I used 135 film attached to the cassettes with sticky tape to test it.

.RAF conversion results (July 2012)
The Fuji sensor arrangement makes the conversion RAF to JPG challenging for everybody. I tested 3 applications but still have not found the “Holy Grail” of Fujifilm sensors.
Silkypix (provided): the images are soft, have a “blue” tone and can not solve the greens very well. The results are so mediocre that I thought it was a problem with the camera. Anyway colors are uniform and noise is undetectable so can be useful in some cases.
Lightroom 4: is a good compromise, not so sharp but not so noisy and plenty of controls. But you need to pay for it, learn to use it, and it is not the “official” converter. If you have it, use it.
Therapee 4: gives the sharper and noisier results, it is free and can give good results. The photo size is the same than in .RAF, which is smaller than 4000x3000. It is a good complement for Silkypix users.
JPG from the camera: results are the best and are not time consuming, but you have few controls over it and need to be preset. M size (6mp) is sharper than L size (12mp), Astia film and highlights in low are advisable too.
I wish some company develop a better product to convert these .RAF files easily and better, meanwhile I shoot JPG and for important events RAF + JPG, a big SD card is mandatory.
Good shoots and better conversions ;)
Test Roll of Lomography CN 400 in my new Lomogrpahy Konstruktor DIY SLR.
VERY wide depth of field, the ring was about 1m or so away and the background is almost in as much focus.
Overall the pictures are okay. I don't think I'd be using it that often, the 1/80 shutter speed is just a bit too slow unless you stop and stand still.
Also it likes to eat film.
