Test describes thsi picture very well. I found this old ice-glasses (turned out to be my dad's), and tested if they fit (yes, they do, very well). Then I was to lazy to search a mirror, and tested if my cam can do it (yes, it can). Then I tested how to do a colormapping in Gimp, and well... this is the result. I post it here jsut to see if someone has some tips or questions on one of the above topics, since from a photography standpoint this picture is really crappy...
Tested the 70-300 VR, the lens is quite good but at 300mm its simply not sharp enough!
Shot hand-held @ F9 300mm with VR on! Oh and its a crop @ 100% :-)
Will try with a tripod next time hehe...
Shot a test roll of Illford XP5 120 format c41 black and white film which i (Poorly) developed at home using E6 chemicals. Mostly to see if the Mamiya 645 medium format camera works. Looks like I need to practice my film loading.
Camera: Mamiya 645m
Film: Illford XP5
Chemical: Illford e6
Scan: Epson V500 600Dpi Scans (lazy)
Lightroom curve adjustment, then Jpeg
so this is the best one out of the set i took tonight. great article andwhynot wrote up, really gave alot of insight. decided to through one up since i will be at track all day tomorrow. tripod is visible from light from stupid street lamps that popped on after being off forever. had a problem early on with light spill, so made a blocker. came out decently. will be back out for another test tomorrow night most likely.
again thanks alot andrew, great write-up, really helped out.
Thread test for Alhambra quilting piece, designed for Carolanne's Whole Cloth Quilt class at The Workroom. The silk tailor's thread at the top won, with the silk quilting thread running a close second - it wasn't quite the right colour.

The images are too fuzzy for my liking. On investigation the pinhole is too small. Also the scanner has started making a blue line across images :(
My DVD player died recently, so I decided to follow this tutorial.

There's only a couple of millimeters of focus though, so it's bloody difficult.
