Just testing out my newly acquired full frame wide zoom, Tokina 17-35mm f4. I wanted to get something wide and sharp but won't break the bank.
August testing can be so tough! Summer vacations. Back to school time. There are a lot of distractions! So proud of all of our students who prepared and did their best at the August Belt Testing!
Under the new cathedral in Viborg the crypt from the 11th century was still intact - and open for visitors. I'm not sure, though, if my son was actually allowed to test the size of this medieval sarcophagus...
Test HDR photo with trial version of Photomatix (Yes, the dock is really two different colors- our son power washed it!)
Pushing the new lens with this photo met all expectations and beyond. Dove was in shade, taken at 1/20 at 600mm handheld pushed the limits of the stabilization and it performed perfectly. Photos taken with the D7K were also very sharp.

D90 + MAB Extension bellows + Makinon 80-200mm for Konica AR. A bit odd but fun for macrophotography.
This turned out disappointing but interesting at the same time. I shaky and unsatisfying first attempt, I shot this thinking little of the tab being pulled out a little too far. My mistake, lucky or not meant only a part of the film was processed. Even though it's a bit of a disaster, I look at the little window at the top of my work on the easel, and I love it anyone how it's turned out. I managed to get the exposure pretty accurate, and the focus. I wouldn't quite consider it my first "real photo" yet, but it's getting there. This was the last shot of this pack, I look forward to the next. The weather has perked up today. Things are looking up!
