Arnos Grove is the first surface station after the long tunnel section from Barons Court running through central London, a Piccadilly Line train lead by DM 872 and formed of Metro-Cammell 1973 built Tube Stock, arrives in the terminating platforms 2 and 3 with a Heathrow-Arnos Grove service.
Opening on the 19th September 1932 Arnos Grove was the temporary terminus of the Piccadilly line until the extension to Cockfosters was completed on the 31st July 1933.

Close up of a glass duck figurine that was sitting on one of the tables at my house. I shined a laser on it near the bottom to produce the red glow. My friend gave me the idea of making a Terminator reference in the title.

The gold Chevrolet emblem has been removed, but the outline of the logo remains. Removing the emblems/logos from cars in this fashion is quite common.

I've been playing paintball heavily for a long time and this is the craziest guy I've ever encountered. He played terminator (where he stays in the game until he calls himself out) againts 15 other guys. This basically amounted to getting wailed on by these 15 other guys. I painted this Terminator (from the Space Marine Adventures: Rise of the Orks board game) as a member of the Ultramarines chapter part of a "March for Macragge" challenge. Macragge is the homeworld of the Ultramarines chapter of Space Marines so in March hobbyists are sometimes encouraged to paint some Ultramarines... Not that the Ultramarines really need the help, as they are one of the most commonly represented factions in Warhammer 40,000, and hence in wargaming as a whole.
My paint scheme for this Terminator was inspired by two Terminators shown off all the way back in issue 115 of White Dwarf, published in 1989. They were painted by Tim Prow using prototypes for the paints in the then forthcoming Space Marine Paint Set.
I in fact dusted off my 33+ year old copies of Marine Dark Blue and Ultramarine Blue for this Terminator, but the end result turned out a bit lighter and more vibrant than the fairly desaturated look Tim Prow achieved back in 1989. Still I like the less flamboyant overall look I achieved here, with mostly grey details, rather than the current standard for Ultramarines Terminators, which paints most of their trim (and their helmets) in white.
