This was the second attempt and turned out to be a little more of an interesting challenge ! ( Massive under-statement ) Although it made a more interesting picture, on this attempt we ended up briefly setting fire to the neighborhood grass and my head. Fortunately, we had the emergency water hose at the ready and no harm was done.

This 5cm piece of quartz has a total of 7 double-terminated quartz crystals on it. The crystals measure about 4mm long. Jasper Creek, Kaueranga Valley, Thames.

TERMINATOR 2: JUDGEMENT DAY

M40 WATT PLASMA RIFLE

This is the weapon that you see the T-800 Endoskeleton Terminators using during the future prologue at the start of the 2nd film. You could also see some captured models in the hands of the human rebels. The rifle is seen again with the marching Terminator army at the start of TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES, and again carried by the rebel resistance in a few episodes of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES.

This is a very heavy solid resin model that took me over a month to put together and paint.

It is extremely heavy (the heaviest resin kit I have ever built) to the point that one can easily get tired carrying this around for more then 5 minutes.
