Road trip Canadian Rockies 2017
Day 14 : Night in Golden, BC. Today, I planned on hiking Revelstoke National Park, but the weather was really crappy. I went to the park, but the gate never opened. So, I went back to Golden and went to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort and took the gondola to hike Terminator Peak and T2 Peak trails. As you can see, the weather was still pretty bad, but it was cool not to stay at the hotel all day.

The mighty Futaleufu River, in Chilean Patagonia. This shot is of a Class V rapid called, "Terminator", and it is truly one of the most fearsome rapids I have seen.

Quite a close crop of this scan, to emphasise the train. Train 332 to Rayners Lane (picc) approaches journey's end. It will tip out in this platform then shunt into the siding to allow the driver to change ends before taking up service on the eastbound platform.
I like the effect that the 135mm prime lens has on tube trains; they end up looking like a caterpillar!
