One of the more distinctive elements of Bray Daly Station is the series of paintings on platform two on the east side of the station. Beginning with a painting of the station's opening ceremony in 1852, the series runs along the length of Platform 2, documenting both Irish history and Irish railway history right up to the present day. Various forms of carriages, locomotives and characters can be seen in the pictures, including British soldiers in 1916, James Joyce in the 1940s, and a hippy couple in the 1960s. Many of these panels were in need of repair as lime was seeping through the plaster. In 2008 the original artist began a Mosaic replacement programme for the Murals.
I had promised myself that I would take proper photographs of the murals so I gave it a try today but due to street furniture as well as people getting in my way I could not stand directly in front of many of the murals the result was some distortion that I was unable to fully correct but despite this I hope that you will like the images (one is missing because the person blocking mural would move).
For about seven years I operated a Hi-Fi and Record retail business in Bray and I really liked the place. The town has improved a lot since then especially after the Dart train service was introduced.
From the inception of the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART) service until its extension to Greystones in 2000, Bray Daly station served as the terminus for the service, and thus a large number of tracks are present just south of the station for inactive trains at the end of the line. Although some DARTs now continue southwards to Greystones, the majority of southbound services still terminate in Bray. Northbound DART services towards Howth and Malahide usually begin their routes in Bray, however since the aforementioned expansion to Greystones, some DART services originate there instead. From Bray heading southbound the line becomes single track.
Not meant to be a comparison of optical quality, too many variables. Seeing the night the image from the 6" was made was about 7.5/10 the others, not as good. The terminator around 1st quarter offers endless visual treats.
From Peter Kokis of Brooklyn RobotWorks, the BT-800 terrorized the Big Apple Con, and filmed the video "Brooklyn Terminator' (coming soon).

One year ago today, Courtney was home alone and 19 weeks pregnant. She was in the kitchen making breakfast when Lilly's water broke - whoosh - the kitchen floor was flooded with amniotic fluid. A call to 911 brought 4 cop cars and a fire truck to our house to take her to the emergency room. I get a call from Courtney's mom while on the train to Grand Central and was lucky a train going back up to CT was leaving in 5 min. We both stayed in the hospital for 24 hours while doctors told us that a miscarriage for both babies was imminent and we could speed up the process by terminating the entire pregnancy. One especially tactless doctor said not only were the babies going to die but Courtney would get a terrible infection and could die as well. Guess what? All 3 of my girls are BAD ASS! We are thinking of sending a card to that doctor with this picture (Caroline looks like she is just about to give the finger)! If you don't already know it, here is the pregnancy story.

It took about 2 months to build and a extreme dent in my poor wallet.
I Didn't use bricklink back then so i bought some Castle themed LEGO and a Star Wars Ship (and lots of other sets) which resulted in not the exact replica of the model also i didn't want it to have the factory offline look but a action pose.

There's a "Yay-for-Protectionism" display at the Reagan Library celebrating the tarriff he slapped on Japanese motorcycles. One of the exhibits is this one, which Arnold Schwarzenegger stole from the guy at the biker bar in the opening scenes of T2: Judgment Day.

I used to Lego, and this is NO Lego. Instructions are missing steps, bricks don't always fix together, bricks don't always lock together, brick bags are miss organized, and the finished models don't hold together well. But Lego didn't get the license to Terminator and Best-Lock provided my only available Terminator build. The final results do look cool.
