I seem to always do this. I upload a photo for 52 weeks project and then I forget that there was one that I liked better. This one is better so I am going to change it...this is week ten.

I'm not sure if this Bedford 4-wheel tipper is a genuine TL or a recabbed KM on its ten-stud axles?
The very tidy MKT316 is badged as a TL2800, and is seen on the outskirts of Mellieha, Malta in November 2019.

The climb begins! Not long after leaving Denver, the hard work for the locos begins. Big Ten curve is an iconic part of that as the line twists and turns to gain altitude.
On the morning I took this shot I went to the top of the Duke's Pass in The Trossachs, Scotland where I got soaked in rain and eaten alive by Highland Midges (the most ferocious creature in the Universe). 10 minutes later the rain blew over the small town of Callander and was lit up by the sun rising over the mountains. 10 minutes later it was gone. I am always surprised by how empty some places in Scotland are, no one else was here to see this marvellous sight. This is an 8 vertical shot stitched pano.

Just shy of ten minutes from Washington's Union Station, Amtrak's #2205 Acela decelerates for the work zone at Landover Interlocking, which will be replaced by a new control point just north of this photo. The ex-PRR tower is one of several that dot the Northeast Corridor.
My wife and I set out to take some shots in golden light one late afternoon. However, clouds came up and it was darker than we had hoped. We spotted distant deer in a field adjacent to our location. We could never get close to this male still in velvet and the photo is heavily cropped. However, I can make out 5 points on the visible antler. One has to assume the other antler is symmetrical.
Once in a lifetime experience for me, a cheeseburger at a Michelin star restaurant. Solbar, Calistoga, CA. Soft bun, double beef patties medium, crispy grill marks, sharp cheddar cheese, fried pickles, etc. all on the burger. Paired with pilsner draft beer. A ten. Fujifilm X-A1 and XC16-50.
