In transito a Mereta (GE) il 15 Settembre 2009 come servizio Regionale da Arquata Scrivia a Genova Brignole

The Ten-Eyed Man, my namesake; this fig was requested a few days ago by The Amazing Mr C, but since then I have made some minor improvements regarding accessories (the base of the figure is the same as it is in my pro pic, just the hair is changed and I added the scarf)

The hair is from the LBM CMF Zod figure

The head is from Agent Coulson from the Detroit Steel set

The scarf belongs to Ninjago Movie casual Jay

The body is from a Gungan warrior with orange arms

The legs are from Aurra Sing

The eye pieces are from the Erumpent from Newt's suitcase (I was previously using the eyes from Aragog but I figured these looked more realistic)

Yesterday in the Theatre Ellen gave away another beautiful show with French/Marrocan music, it was a dazzling show with dance and light.....

the whole body-mind falls away

and you directly perceive the ten thousand things.”

On a fall day my aunt passed away. For the last ten years of her life she became a recluse, afraid to go outside her home. For ten years she only saw the world through a lace curtain. This my tribute to her.

Same place, ten minutes later :-)

I've never seen so many eagles as in Alaska

272 photos merged into one image using the lighten layer-blending mode in photoshop. Lots of little clouds passing by as the sun sets. Possibly ten thousand, maybe more, maybe less. I didn't bother to count. I just sat and admired the show.

The whole of a westbound coal empty (well, most of it, anyways) is visible around Big Ten Curve. Many thanks to MD and KR for showing me around out here. I'll be taking advantage of the JeffCo Open Space land a lot more in the future out here!

I know, I've posted a lot of arches lately but this one was truly unusual. I don't know if it could even be considered an arch but if it's not, what is it? It's a big rock that has somehow gotten hollowed out and on two of the faces there are a total of ten nicely formed holes. I crawled into one of those holes to take this picture, to give you an idea of the size of the thing. It's a sketchbook in arch formation! I wanted to bring it home. Unfortunately, we were flying home and even with Southwest's generous baggage allowances, it would have gone over. Way, way over :^)

Spring Break 2014 Day 6: Valley of Fire, Nevada.

Line of trees on the northern boundary of the Broughton castle estate in Oxfordshire

I was inspired by the great Whiskey Monday to do this! It's funny how much SL has changed in the last ten years, isn't it? I even dug up the same pose I used in the photo on the left because I have a really good memory for weird, random bits of information like that.

The end of the MNYGJ, with a single DPU, comes around the curve toward the west switch of Eisele (Clay). The head end of the train is already out the west end of Eisele and heading for Blue Mountain Road! At just over 7,000 feet long, the train is over 1,200 feet longer than the siding at Eisele.

...hanging on a, erm, table?

Spotted this little lady in my garden, well my hubby spotted it, it was only about 3-4 mm, very active little thing, it's the first time I've seen one

The eastbound Zephyr wraps through the 10° curve of Little Ten Curve near the west end of Rocky. Up until the early 1980s, the west switch of Rocky as at the start of the curve to the left of the frame. At that point in time, there was only a single track wrapping around Little Ten Curve. However, the increased size of coal trains led to Rio Grande lengthening several sidings, including Rocky. The Zephyr glides through the curve on the main amidst a field of green under a blue sky filled with non-threatening clouds.

Beautiful adult male Dajarra Death Adder filmed at twilight in the late summer.

Taken on a Canon EOS 5D Mark 3 DSLR coupled to a vintage M42 mount Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 2/58 (Silver semi-automatic preset version with 10 blade aperture). An M42 9mm extension tube incorporated. Shot hand-held @ 2.0 with reflected side-lighting utilized. Apart from RAW conversion and the most basic of edits, image taken as is.

I love my Biotar..
