The field has been already known since 1350 and has known a rich (construction) history. In the castle are also today a lot of paintings and images which refer among other things to the family history of the successive occupants. Its current view got the castle in 1875, when the couple of Caloen de Besseghem-de Neve de Rode both the exterior and the interior in the then prevalent neo-gothic style let rebuilt and embellishes by the well-known Antwerp architect Schadde. Most striking adaptation, however,was the rebuilding of the castle tower-donjon that during the middle ages stood there.
When I was there an angry man shouting, out the window that I may not make photo's from the castle.
Well I took some.
Ah the goldrims, when raising these beauties you never know how long you might have them in protective custody. My past experience with them has been that they take their time eating, they are very messy and they will emerge on their own time.
I have had them eclose (hatch) anywhere between fourteen days to ten months after pupation. When they stick around they take up a lot of space. Therefore, I chose not to raise any last season. Instead, I ended up releasing the hold over's from the season before.
Reluctantly, this season I have decided to give them a boost. So, I brought in several clusters of eggs when I saw them on the vine. The eggs have hatched and the caterpillars are munching away in protective custody. Now, if they will only eclose within a couple of weeks instead of several months, I shall be a happy gardener.

We visited the Hungarian horse show on the Puszta (the Great Hungarian Plain) near to Kalocsa. Here we were entertained by the Magyar cowboys, who demonstrated their highly skilled horsemanship with aplomb & humour . I certainly highly recommend a visit when in the vicinity.
Here the rider (?) is controlling ten speeding horses using a series of reins , while standing on two horse backs .

The Short-eared Owl (Asio flammeus) is is a communal bird in the winter months, when upwards of ten or more may be spotted searching the same field for mousy treats. These stunning and gregarious owls benefited greatly from mankind's agricultural revolution, as they adore hunts on such fields. In fact, whenever such a field exists, they'll even sleep in them during the day, nestled away in tall grasses. Sure, short-ears will roost in trees when absolutely necessary, but only begrudgingly when thick blankets of snow have stolen their grassy hillocks. Interestingly, their hoots have always sounded a bit like a cross between dog barking and cat mewling to me!
Český Krumlov - a city located on the banks of the meandering Vltava River at this point. Built around a thirteenth-century castle that was built on the coastal rock to protect the ford across the river. Český Krumlov is an example of a small medieval city in Central Europe, which has developed without interruption for five centuries, thus preserving the architectural heritage intact.

C&BL #104 crosses the Conemaugh River over the Ten Acre Bridge, built in 1901, after delivering gondolas to the wire mill. During the days of Bethlehem Steel, the C&BL ran around the clock with at least a dozen active switchers. On this day, not even two hours had passed, and their day had already come to an end.

This year at Hughenden Manor there are enchanting scenes from Twelve Days of Christmas. Along the path leading from the car park down towards the Manor are 'ten pipers piping''.
Opened to traffic on March 29, 1998. As of 2008, the toll is €2.25 per passenger car (up to €10.10 per truck) northbound (into Lisbon). There is no toll for southbound traffic, so... go South :-)

Castle ten Berghe is situated a few minutes from the historical center of Bruges, surrounded by water on all four sides.
The interior of the castle, which will plunge you into a world completely out of time, contains three reception rooms, a library, a chapel and three bedrooms.
The magnificent domain surrounding the castle is ideal for outdoor events!
The Morris Ten is a medium-sized car introduced for 1933 as the company's offering in the important 10 hp sector of the British market. It continued through a series of variants until October 1948 when along with Morris's Twelve and Fourteen it was replaced by the 13.5 hp Morris Oxford.
This 1946 Morris Ten, EP 9268, is seen during a heritage event at Quorn station on 21st November 2021.
Tower Ten is the latest addition to the already enormous Amsterdam World Trade Center Complex.
Originally designed in 1985, by Van den Oever, Zaaijer and Roodbeen.
The upgrades and expansions since have been designed by the London firm PLP and Ron Bakker from Holland.
The white elements, called 'baguettes' by the designers act as curtains.
