Microvision promises that a "fully functioning, self-contained prototype that should be available as a real product-possibly from Motorola-later this year." There are no specs out yet, but the publicity photos display a device apparently similar in size to the iPod. Such portability means that the SHOW, as the pocket projector is named, could be the perfect complement for smartphones and PDAs. Which is why I'm going to watch this product's development eagerly-and hope that Microvision also finds a way to get it to work with other gadgets aside from "laptops, the iPod touch, and some phones."
