The students are told that in 15 minutes their egg will be dropped from head height. They have to quickly work in groups to wrap and protect the unboiled egg using natural materials such as leaves, wet twigs, moss and sometimes selotape for the less able groups. If the eggs survive the drop, students can cook and eat the eggs later for lunch! (Selotape is collected after the activity and everything else is bio-degradable)
