U.S. Army Reserve engineers Specialists Marcus Williford and Leonard Endsley and Staff Sgt. John Holubeck inspect their display of a Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle at the U.S. Army All American Bowl Army Strong Zone Wednesday Jan. 1 at San Antonio’s Alamodome. The Army Strong Zone is a large, free interactive area that allows the public to experience the Army through numerous displays by many Army commands. It will be open Friday Jan. 4 and before and after the U.S. Army All American Bowl Saturday Jan. 5.
Another thing I haven't been to in ages. Way before I got my D90 and finally got to see it before they moved. I love the Lion King so this was something I had to check out. It really pushed the capabilities of the D800.

This arrived yesterday. It's a New York Emmy, that is, for productions in NYC, as opposed to the National Emmys. This was given to the entire crew of Friday Night Knicks, specifically for our show 11/17/14. The games we air on Fridays incorporate popular music. What I did was graphics - opening title, announcer's names, players' names and stats and full-pages of info. I have received other local Emmys (as part of a production crew) as certificates, but this time management ordered the statues. As a recent retiree, this was greatly appreciated. Live sports coverage is truly a team sport. Everyone works together to make the best-possible production. I am proud to have been a part of these crews.
A pair of Wood Ants manouevre a large twig along their track towards the nest. The still image is slightly misleading though, at times the ant at the back was carrying the twig and it's colleague, who appeared to be hindering more than helping at times.!
I bought my nephew a shirt from Target with a cheeseburger on a trampoline (http://www.flickr.com/photos/laserbread/4112747817/) and he's been loving talking over the ingredient list. So he and uncle Ryan picked up the ukulele and wrote a song about it.
They even practiced their teamwork with Kidlet strumming, while Uncle Ryan plays the chords. :)
I got a client through school called HEAT (Hospitality education and training). They run 12 week programs for kids who want to work in the hospitality scene.
