My nieces' school wanted Year 6 pupils to do a mosaic for entrance to the school to present as their leaving present when they left to start new schools. My design, using a mix of vitreous glass, gloss and matt ceramic tiles. 3D element with the lettering and pupils standing proud.

Blacksmiths take turns to strike a heated piece of iron. As the iron cools and becomes less pliable, the blacksmiths drop out one by one, until only one mallet is doing the work. After the metal is reheated, they come together to work on it again.

Looks like a seagull and a wingman... or wing-gull. Teamwork? Not really. Most of there's a gull (bottom) around for every gull (top) that has food in its beak, hoping it would accidentally drop it.
Believe it or not the food is a mussel. The seagull drops it from the heights onto hard rock to burst it open.

In Mainland China manpower costs are very low compared to Hong Kong or Taiwan.
The job of this team is to clean the clocks in this metro station. Every team member has a specific task.
First the girl with the feather duster (right) does the dusting, then the guy with the damp cloth wipes the clock. The strong looking guy (left) holds the ladder. And finally the girl with the file in her hand does all the paperworks.
And not to mention battalions of cleaning staff who are constantly on watch to fight every sort of dirt. I swear, the floors are so clean that you could eat off them!
I wonder how many Mainlanders does it take to change a light bulb...
