The only lepto around here should be Victorian teatree. Not sure if this is it. There may be other natives that have five white petals, but it's a pretty strong indicator.

I thought it looked awfully unusual for a rosemary plant... because it's not! It's "tea tree", the medicinal herb.

Genus Diphucephala colaspidoides on Leptospermum scoparium manuka or teatree

These patterns were something different. They looked like veins! I think it is caused by the leaching of tannins from the scrub/teatree covering the sand behind the beach. It has the colour of tea
