Target's quite big - I'd probably have to stand in Newark to get the whole building in shot actually. It's a bit like Woolworths in terms of selling a range of electronics, toys, cosmetics as well as a slightly baffling selection of food.
Target practice with my 50mm!!! Not easy to get the right focus when people are chasing you to remove your arrows from the target....

We travelled south from Cenote Cristalino heading towards Tulum, the site of a Pre-Columbian Maya walled city serving as a major port for Cobá. It was hot and so we pulled over at the top of the long entrance to "Parque Nacional Tulum" to get something to drink. The roadside cantina was called the Hotel Y Restaurant El Crucero and everyone there was glued to to the lone television to the right. It appeared to be a lawn sports Eisteddfod of some sort, with two teams of men engaged in quaint competition, chasing a synthetic pigs bladder and falling down, acting hurt, in the hope accumulating sufficient performance points to win a coverted rosette. Apparently it was called the FIFA World Cup Final 2014 and, as it was towards the end of the final chukka, we decided to stay and watch. One beer led to another and then to Nachos and then on to more beer. We never got to see Tulum, and headed back to our resort at Xcaret. Oh, and I think the team in white won the game. Viva-Whites-Viva!!
A hot air balloon demonstration in Baltimore went a little wild when a storm approached. I like the detail on the ropes.
This Target's exterior hasn't been updated since it opened in the late 90's and it's showing it's age. It is indeed one of more outdated Target stores these days in 2020. This store is located between Zion and Waukegan which are mainly Hispanic populated communities. That's also why the décor package included Spanish underneath the English.

Johns Hopkins Glacier is a 12-mile (19 km) long glacierlocated in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve in the U.S. state of Alaska. It begins on the east slopes of Lituya Mountain and Mount Salisbury, and trends east to the head of Johns Hopkins Inlet, 1 mile (1.6 km) southwest of theterminus of Clark Glacier and 79 miles (127 km) northwest of Hoonah. It was named after Johns Hopkins University inBaltimore, Maryland in 1893 by H.F. Reid.
Access to the glacier by cruise boats is restricted to maintaining a distance of 5km back from the glacier terminus due to that fact that Johns Hopkins Inlet is a favoured breeding ground for seals and other marine life.

PRESIDIO OF MONTEREY, Calif. - Presidio Airmen participate in the Target Hardening Self-Defense course here March 13. The program is mandatory for new female airmen to learn how to fend off or avoid sexual assault. The program is also open to any other interested female community members and is conducted once a month by the 517th Training Group.

Target Corporation's mascot Bullseye decked out in a 2010 Minnesota Twins, Target Field inaugural season jersey. This is the Twins Target Field opener rally and viewing party as seen at Peavey Plaza, a great place to be if you did'nt have a ticket to the game. My first game will be on 4-22, when I play hooky for a noon start.

This shot is simply a close-up of the big wraparound promoting the big changes in store. Another big change for Target: it seems they might finally be coming to Tupelo! Rumors have swirled about that for years, without anything ever actually coming to fruition. I was a little hopeful they’d take over the old Sears at the mall there, but I’m not terribly surprised they didn’t. If this goes through, it will be exciting to see what a new-build, full-line Target looks like. Target doesn’t have a very large presence in Mississippi, currently operating only in DeSoto County (Horn Lake and Olive Branch), the capital area (Jackson and Flowood), Hattiesburg, and D’Iberville.
