This is my LPB-1 by Electro-Harmonix. It's "an exact recreation of the original LPB-1 circuit that ushered in the age of overdrive in 1968. Put the LPB-1 in line with any effect to provide boost and definition. Improve the gain and saturation of your amp."
I've used this pedal to boost my signal as I go into a solo to cut through the mix. Also, I've used it to overdrive the preamp of a tube amplifier. However, since it doesn't have a tone or high and low knobs to fine tune the sound, I tend to use it as a signal boost for lead parts. This is a great, straight forward, easy to use pedal. I mean look at it. It has one knob and an on/off switch.

That's today's theme in We're Here!. I was going for the "invisible man" sort of thing and I even had my sunglasses on, but with my scarf covering my face, my breath was fogging up my glasses so badly I couldn't see anything.
Right now, it is about 12° Fahrenheit with a -6° wind chill, so I HAD to leave my face covered lest I die to death from asthma. (Yes, I said "die to death").
So, here's my invisible self-portrait. Sort of. More of a ghost than "invisible" but hey, you get what you get, dammit! Don't be so damn picky!

Surrey RCMPand BC Ambulance responded to a call of shots fired in the 13900 block of 56 Avenue at 11 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19 and found two men, 27 and 28 years old, on the front lawn of a property. Both were taken to hospital, where one died and the other was in critical condition.

SET 2 – HLT Remodel: 6-1-2023
This shot is simply a close-up of the big wraparound promoting the big changes in store. Another big change for Target: it seems they might finally be coming to Tupelo! Rumors have swirled about that for years, without anything ever actually coming to fruition. I was a little hopeful they’d take over the old Sears at the mall there, but I’m not terribly surprised they didn’t. If this goes through, it will be exciting to see what a new-build, full-line Target looks like. Target doesn’t have a very large presence in Mississippi, currently operating only in DeSoto County (Horn Lake and Olive Branch), the capital area (Jackson and Flowood), Hattiesburg, and D’Iberville.
