Looking at this picture, I get flashbacks to my childhood, I used to be half a jungle-kid, living outdoors, playing in the woods with my friends, riding my bicycle everywhere, roaming the fields and forests, discovering animals, plants and all those other things that make being in the free, open nature such a fun thing...now that I'm grown-up (age-wise, mentally I'm still about 8 years old, lol ;) I'm forced to spend most of my time inside artificial environments, creating value for the shareholders of the company I work for, instead of being out there, enjoying the good things in life...but I can't really complain, I still get to ride my bike each day while listening to music, watching the birds, enjoying the sights and sounds of the park and the many creatures living in and around the canals and rivers in the best city in the world :))

And yes, of course all this reminiscing of the old days makes me hum this song in my head, putting a smile on my lips :)

Cowboy Action Shooting Club. The firearms used are based on those which existed in the 19th century American West, i.e. lever action rifle, single action revolver, and shotgun.

I’ve been away from Dolly things for a bit, but saw Polly Pocket has a Target set! 😀 Didn’t find it, but did see others. That Snoopy snow cone set threw me back to childhood!! Left Target with only two Mini Brands capsules!

This location opened on March 10th, 1996.

This is the first target I used in my Ballistics and Firearms Identification class.

AN/AVQ-10 Paveknife airborne targeting pod at the China Lake Museum of Armament & Technology.

The only way to get to Target Field to attend a Minnesota Twins game: By taking Metro Transit's Hiawatha Line directly to Target Field. Especially since Fort Snelling is the closest park & ride to my house.

As you can tell, the train is quite packed for game day in Minneapolis.

Guest Service is immediately to your right, as well as the photo center and ATM. I love how they just opened that Starbucks a few weeks ago (as of 3/21/2012) and they use Starbucks' previous logo (which I'm not complaining about, because I like it a lot better). This is the only Target I know of that has restrooms in the back of the store, also.

This is a doll house display from Target that is to be destroyed. I took it home last night - at least some perks of the job. Now I just have to find place to put it. I took off the front plastic cover already so everything is mint and clean inside. I will remove the furniture later so I can fit more dolls in. YAY!!! So if anybody likes it try to go to your Target and ask about it, maybe they will give it away!

This is just before Target decided to yank mainstream jewelry from their stores.

Ecuadorian Hip Hop outfit GeoPro joins poets from ACES, a New York based and internationally connected collective of artists, theatre practitioners and educators whose aim is to explore social issues, build community, and create cross cultural dialogue through performance and other artistic mediums. Followed by Diego Obregón & Grupo Chonta. Obregón has played the bombo and cununo with the famed marimbeño Don Silvino Mina and setting up a renowned marimba-buidling workshop in Cali. Throughout his musical career Diego has played with groups such as Raíces Negras, Los Bogas del Pacifico, Grupo Naidy, La Cumbiamba eNeYé amongst others.

Explores the traditional forms of Colombian music and its relation to Hip Hop. By way of interviews, events, situations and landscapes, the documentary uncovers a youth that constructs from exclusion a movement of hope and truth. As we witness their efforts to self-produce, organize and multiply knowledge, we realize their necessity to perpetuate, communicate, give and exist. Through the lyrics of Tribu Omerta , Por Razones de Estado, Zona Marginal, and others, we discover the lucid consciousness of a youth that through art, seeks to awaken and renew its society.
