A high voltage transmission tower adjacent to the Batman Bridge north of Launceston, Tasmania.

I was trying to get a good angle on of the bridge, but there are these trees in the way of all the shots I had in my head. Then I noticed this transmission tower right next to it, and you can just walk right beneath it! Perfect!

This beautiful waterfall is along the Icefields Parkway in Alberta. The b&w conversion emphasizes the mist at the top of the falls. In 1907 Mary Schaffer gave the creek and falls its name after her party had difficulty descending the valley through a tangle of fallen trees.

This is a wild carrot (Daucus carota) aka "Queen Anne's lace" . Thank you for ID, Rolf.

I didn't even notice the little insect on it. Looks like a wasp but hard to tell.
