I ran across these kids hiking up the Wildwood Canyon trail. The one on the right I believe half jokingly asked if I would take their picture and was surprised when I obliged. Hope they find this.

wide open it is a bit soft but pleasant enough for floral shots. As noted earlier in this stream, I found this rare jewel two months ago in a local junk store, with a jammed aperture ring but otherwise fine. Its low serial number suggests manufacture in 1958-59 when the lens was first introduced. Only about 48,000 were built between 1958 and 1962.
