Before buying this lens, I wondered how "soft" it was wide open. Well, in case anyone else wonders, here's a wide open shot. Personally I like the softer glow and smooth bokeh very much....

Taken w/ my Super Takumar 50/1.4 manual lens. I used two older 50's and they gave a better exposure all the time over my lower grade sigma zoom.
