Prepping the lens cap by adding a little tinfoil, reflective side up. That dust looks a lot worse than it is. It's really a very clean lens.

takumar 6x7 75mm F4.5 フジヤカメラのジャンク箱から拾ってきました。デカイ重い暗いせいで写りまで悪く言われる可哀想なヤツです。

でもそこで閃いちゃったんですよ。

Using a Super Takumar 55mm F2 M42

A mint Pentax Super-Takumar 2.5/135 (m42) followed me home today... my first MF lens.

Used it with the AF confirm adapter I picked up on ebay - fools the camera into thinking there's a lens attached (a Canon EF 35-80mm f/4-5.6 which I don't have) .. it also fakes the Aperture at f/1.4 and the Focal Length at 50 mm.. which of course I couldn't do with this lens...

So the EXIF data ends up wrong, but then again I'm not taking pictures of EXIF data....
