Day 1
On the run up to Christmas Day, I'm going to attempt to set the table each day ... and use it!
Photos taken this morning, and this evening there will be:
Sea Bass
New Potatoes
Green Beans
Lemon Tart
And I will try and take photos to prove that we did sit down to eat, although there will only be 2 of us.
Left over wrapping paper for the runner, two silver candlesticks on special for <$5 each at Ikea, a string of tinsel for sparkle and left over tree decorations as napkin rings.

••• TABLETOP & PLACE SETTINGS:
• Start with a clean white tablecloth for a base. Use brightly colored wrapping paper (the polka dot paper found here was a $1 a roll at Target) as a table runner.
• Use silver chargers for an inexpensive burst of color.
• Dress up your place settings by placing a starburst ornament on the center of each napkin. For an alternative to name cards, put a sticker with the first initial of your guests on the ornament or if you are handy with a paint pen, hand letter the initial.
• To add some extra shine, place like-colored balls and other shiny accessories on the table. The snowflake napkin rings used here were too small to fit a napkin inside so I repurposed them!

** Thanks to my Grandma for letting me take my pictures in her garage since my apartment was too small and poorly lit. Also thank you to my photog sister, Bailey, who let me use her oh-so fancy camera and attempting to teach me how to use it.

Day 24
The penultimate day of setting the table for Christmas. It's been fun, but a lot of work.
Anyways, I'm just oft to the kitchen to cook Sunday lunch, which will be as close to a traditional Christmas Dinner as we are going to be getting.
Here is my attempt at a photo for the Halloween theme contest we have going for F***** F********. The Dark M&M's and a skull. The tag on the bag said "True love never dies"
