On Tuesday we went to Chartwell (National Trust) and of course I was drawn to the table setting.
The Richmond Art Museum holds a "Secret Garden Tour" each year as a fundraiser. This year, all the gardens were located within walking distance in the Reeveston Place historic district in Richmond, Indiana.
A dilemma I faced - I favour a classic table so I set a white Thanksgiving table but my daughter felt it needed the pink silk cloth so I reset with the pink cloth but .... I still rather like the white setting. What do you think? Pink or white?

A slightly more festive look today, with my Father Christmas plates that only get used once or twice a year.
I will be doing a roast chicken dinner for mid afternoon. There might be a pud, but probably not ... I'll make him eat more vegetables if he is still hungry :)))
A closer view, I just love the other one showing the larger view of the room with the festive poinsettias and the overall color.
I bought this Vera table cloth last fall at a festival/ flea market ($3) - it resists the iron, so I gave up. Mom said dampen it, put in the fridge, then try ironing it ... hmmm. Well, it's already on the table, maybe next time ;)
