This bus model new to the 37B Islington route

The Sidekick Cafe and Comic Book Store is one of the most wonderful little places in Toronto, and if you go there right now then you can watch people right across the road pick up their Christmas trees.

Toronto Transit Commission 9415 is a 2023 New Flyer XDE60, operating on route 939 Finch Express.

TTC 2005 Orion VII OG Diesel #7553 is spotted parked at Kipling Station after being brought in to help out with the Line 2 Subway Shuttle service

TTC 9401 is a 1996 Orion 05.501 high floor bus fitted with a front door wheelchair lift. The 9400 series were originally CNG powered.

TTC 9401 arrives at Wilson subway station on August 24th, 2009.

 

TTC 1921 built large Witt 2424 at the eastern loop of the Halton County Radial Railway on September 2nd, 2012.

GM Fishbowl 8058 was put on display during the September 2016 Hillcrest Open House.

TTC 9152 is a leased City of Edmonton trolleybus with a General Motors body. These were surplus to Edmonton and were leased to Toronto in the early 1990s. Seen at the Lansdowne Avenue Garage in February 1991.

Air conditioning problems with the T-1 fleet has temporarily brought some Toronto Rockets to Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth). Bombardier Toronto Rocket 5536 waits to leave Kipling station out of service after finishing a run as a rush hour extra.

 

Although not permanently, this summer marks the first time that Toronto Rockets have run on all three subway lines (Line 1, Line 2, and Line 4).

What's underneath the electronic system map on the new TTC Rocket subway trains. Looks like the lights for the Spadina subway extension stations are already there.

All the TTC buses and streetcars traced for 6 hours the morning of January 6th, 2012. Average speed is indicated by colour, red being the slowest, followed by orange, yellow, green and blue.

 

Exactly the same as TTC Speeds, but I've included the Toronto shoreline for reference. Check out the larger sizes for extra detail.

TTC 2786 is a small Witt built by Canadian Car & Foundry in 1923. It operated in Toronto until 1963.

2786 arrives at the east end car barns in July 1985.

Toronto Transit Commission 8493 (2015 Nova Bus LFS) is seen at Finch Station, on Route 60C Steeles East.

On a quiet night at Lawrence West station, Nova Bus LFS 8441 and Orion VII NG HEV 1595 wait patiently for passengers. 8441 is on route 59 Maple Leaf, while 1595 is on route 52 Lawrence West.

TTC 6223 is a 1987 GMDD TC40-102N "Classic" transit bus. It was one of two surviving units of an order of 84. One was assigned to the Toronto Islands and the other as a spare.

TTC 7207, a 1996 Nova Bus RTS WFD, is seen waiting for passengers on route 60C Steeles West at the intersection of Steeles Ave. W. and Bathurst St.

 

This bus was retrofitted with Luminator Horizon displays.

Unfortunately, Hawker-Siddeley CLRV 4087 does not have a rollsign for route 514 Cherry, so it makes do with a King short turn one instead. The wrap for Prince Edward Island looks very classy.
