The Inoummar agadir is the largest granary in the Western Anti-Atlas (576 huts), near Ait Baha, on the road from Agadir to Tafraoute.
The "igoudars" testify to an ancestral history and a secular tradition. Long preserved in time, they reflect a culture both architectural and societal. They are collective granaries in the form of citadels, mostly watched over by a "lamine", which literally means trustworthy man. They were used to store foodstuffs, crops of wheat, corn and barley, oil, jewelry and precious documents. Because of their fortified form, they constituted the ideal refuge and the reliable shelter of the foodstuffs and goods of the douar populations against the temptations of the brigands.
I see this little kitty around the neighborhood all the time but it hasn't decided that I'm trustworthy yet.. If I don't rush it maybe it will let me pet it one of these days...
I think the hill is Barrow Hill at Fretherne but I'm not sure... it could actually be Robin's Wood Hill up near Gloucester.
River Constantine
Carry me, your love is wider than my need could ever be
Come to me, and I will walk along Your shore line
Hear your crashing waves sing in time
with the pounding of my heart
Come down, pour out on me
Come down, pour out on me
River deep, could I know you as well as you know me
Constantine, will we travel faster, farther than these
legs could ever trustworthy be
Come, down, pour out on me
Come down, pour out on me
Come down, pour out on me
Come down, pour out on me

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the former things are passed away.” He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children."

I had a very skunky cup of the coffee this morning. By very skunky, I don't mean the undrinkable cup of robusta I had at Dunkin Donuts in Philadelphia. That, my friends, was the only cup of coffee(?) from which I've taken but one sip, and dropped into the recycling bin. Rather, this was the kind of skunky from which one takes a sip, complains of its inferiority, takes another sip and expresses another complaint, and thus carries on the pattern to the bottom of the cup.
Until this morning, I had thought the mermaid's consistent mediocrity to be utterly trustworthy. It may not be the finest there is, but you can always count on consistency.
The irony of it all is that I'm sitting in a very cool space staring at these two wonderful posters of my TOP TWO favorite coffees on the planet. Do you realize how cool is advertising for top shelf when you're sipping back-of-pantry-bottom-shelf fare?
There is a greater irony. I'm sitting in this cool space with two of my students/friends, discussing self-denial, sobriety of heart, and spiritual introspection with ashes on our foreheads in the golden light of dawn meant to bathe in hope the victims of Wednesday morning's storms . Add to that that everyone else in the room also is wearing ashes.
We're all sitting in the atmosphere of the epitome of american consumption (though for the purpose of community) discussing wilderness experience and upon every sip between sentences, I'm complaining inside about the skunkiness of my non-Harrar, and non-Sumatra.
Honestly, I wonder if anyone who harvested my favorite beans could afford the cup of skunky coffee I'm drinking.

PART ONE - The Deal
The Galactic Empire recently lost a vital planet utilised for trade for weapons, explosives and other supplies. A rebellion pushed back the Empire on the planet of Kantar Prime, located in the mid-rim territories. The Empire has been fully shut-off from Kantar Prime for the time being, as a political dispute left Kantar’s prime minister with an Imperial treaty stating that freedom has now subsequently been issued as a result of this Rebellion. The Empire is running low on warfare supplies. They have to find a way to re-open the trade route, or find a trustworthy supplier of weapons. The Two Suns Syndicate, run by brothers Cyn and Grink Tarsin, is based on Tatooine. The Syndicate primarily supplies high class weapons to small insurgent or mercenary organisations. They have offered a meeting between Imperial Admiral Rannt, TK-34786 ‘Kyp Jare’ and Cyn Tarsin in a crashed Venator cargo bay on Kashyyyk, to strike a trade deal between the Empire and the Two Suns Syndicate. "Animals are trustworthy, full of love, grateful and loyal, rules that are difficult for people to follow" (Alfred A. Montapert).
Near the center of the village sits the home of the village blacksmith. Working out of a small shop connected to his house, the blacksmith provides trustworthy work to the local farmers, soldiers, and craftsmen who need a horse shoed, a plough sharpened, or a tool repaired. The sound of his hammer striking metal can be heard throughout the countryside, and the cozy outdoor shop often serves as the site of friendly socialization and sharing of news for the village residents.

Another build incorporating the technic-pin roof technique I've been playing with. I love the way it looks and the versatility of it's shape, but it can really be a pain to work with. ;)
Also, building houses is kinda hard...getting the roof shape and building proportions right can be complicated. Something I need to practice more. :)
Thanks for looking!

I paused over how RL made difficult scheduling with the models, but I am finally back with The Zodiac Series!
Here comes Taurus!
----------------♡----------------
Taurus is an earth sign. Like their celestial spirit animal, Taureans enjoy relaxing in serene, bucolic environments, surrounded by soft sounds, soothing aromas, and succulent flavors. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the enchanting planet that governs love, beauty, and money. Taurus’s Venusian influence make this earth sign the most sensual of the zodiac: These cosmic oxen are enchanted by any physical manifestation of comfort and luxury. Pleasure is a necessity for epicurean Taureans and they feel most content when pampered. (Taurus governs the neck, so neck caresses are especially irresistible to these bulls.)
As a sign, Taurus is fixed, an astrological quality that reflects Taurus’s steadfast, loyal nature. Fixed signs are excellent at maintaining systems and Taureans prioritize consistency and reliability in all areas of their lives. It must be noted, however, that Taurus does have a bit of a reputation: What a Taurus perceives as dedication is often regarded by others as stubbornness. Accordingly, these bulls may end up lingering in unhealthy situations — whether relationships, jobs, or homes — longer than necessary just to prove a point. Despite their occasional obstinance, however, Taureans are dependable partners, soothing their friends and lovers with their trustworthiness and devotion.

Today's NSLS special guest is a very talented and complete SL designer.
I met him on my very first days on SL when everything on this little magical world was still unknown and kinda mysterious to me. He became soon a dear friend of mine, a trustworthy guide, a funny and nice neighbor and my SL brother.
His creations go from clothes, to accessories for the avatar, from decorations to buildings to furniture and everything is always made with the best design and quality.
Ladies and gentlemen, directly from BinaryHearts City , it's a big pleasure to introduce you to the incredible: Mr. Meejay BinaryHearts !
Cla: Hi bro! How are you? I'm very happy to have you here and grill you a little. First of all I want to thank you for hosting this NSLS episode in your beautiful BinaryHearts City!
Meejay: Hey sis, I'm fine even if i'm about to be Grilled by my own sis! You have all my gratitude for this as I love the concept a lot and welcome to BinaryHearts City to all the NSLS audience!
C.: You officially started your Second Life in 2010, but I know you have been around even before. What was SL like back those days? How did you like to spend your time there?
M.: Yes, you are right, I've been around since 2006. I was on SL with all my real life Family back then, Mother, Sister and Father.
My very first avatar is dead to day because one day I stole my mother a lot of L$ to buy a primy boat, I was not even having a sim to rez it but I liked it too much and I was a stupid young kid...
They got refunded but the boat's creator asked Linden to delete my account just to be sure I was not having any copy of the boat in my inventory.
So one year later, I created a new avatar and started building my own boat made of prims, because I really wanted a boat so much!
I've never stopped building things until this time, but in the past I was building for myself, to furnish my little house, to create my space station, etc, so my Second Life was mainly building things.
Then one day my sister made me discover clubbing in SL, live mix and party, and because I was starting to play with my birthday gift, a Hercules DJ Console RMX, but without an audience, I started mixing in SL clubs.
C.: At some point, you took the plunge and you started your own brand, to make your beautiful creations for all the SL people (like the top I'm wearing, the cute cat on the desk, the mask on your head, they all are made by you) and you opened your BinaryHearts store ( maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/BinaryHearts/128/124/35 ). Tell us better how this project was born and how you developed it, what was your first creation?
M.: At some point I wanted more than building primy things and djing in clubs. I started roleplaying, it was at that time I created my Space Station (The Tic Tac Station) and I met a girl named Aiko who made me discover new things as well. With her we've created an Airline company on the Second Norway sim in the Blake Sea.
That was cool for a while, but playing with aircrafts everyone else had, was starting to be boring. We wanted something more unique than just our liveries on our airplane's shell!
And so she started to build on SL a 747, real sized.
And I started to learn scripting for real, to make this baby fly
Working alone on a big baby like a real sized 747 when you are not a pro is time consuming, and each little default was making Aiko crazy, so I tried to learn 3D as well to help her on the construction of that big baby, using the same tool she was using (3DS Max), and I felt like I would love to use 3D Software to do mesh, the potential was unlimited, though that software was not made for me, its concept was really not my cup of tea.
But since we started to build the 747 we had to finish it, so I searched for a 3D Software I could like and discovered Maya. This software is really different from Max because it's like an evidence for me, and I started to learn how it works, I spent a lot of time, days & nights on learning it. At the same time I was starting a new job in Real Life, so I kinda abandoned Aiko and we lost contact for a while.
Some time after all that, I got in a real life relationship with Shinkura, and because 3D was now a passion for me, I showed her how it works and what we can do with 3D software. Shinkura had about Maya the same feeling I had about Max some years before.
She loved the possibilities but it was not the right software for her.
She found her own software by herself, ZBrush, and she started to do 3D like I did.
That's how BinaryHearts saw the daylight, because we had to put a name on the products made out of our passion.
At StClement, my aunt sim, we used to build things for the sim and we were having a dedicated sandbox for our own creations.
My first product was the Lake Port Meshkit, made for StClement, a lake city sim.
But that was not my first 3D model
I actually started with a boat www.flickr.com/photos/145256455@N08/32555999221/in/datepo...
It always starts with a boat.
C.: Hehe seems so! You mentioned your partner Shinkura Sasaki, who is also the other half of BinaryHearts. How do you share the tasks between you two?
M.: Chaos!
C.: Lol
M.: That's how we share the tasks :D
So, basically, 3D is made of 2 things, soft and hard mesh. Soft mesh is organical things, clothes, sheets... Hard mesh is furniture, vehicles, houses...
Usually, Shinkura does the soft mesh. I do the hard mesh, my software is stronger for Hard mesh and her software is stronger for soft mesh.
But sometimes she does the hard mesh and I do the soft mesh.
All in all what else to do, when you want to do something like a stone cat and you only use Zbrush... You just do what you want and make the stone cat! And when I wanted to add a sail on my little lake house, I learned how nCloth works on Maya and I just did my sail :)
About our creations, I do the texturing part, the rigging process (needed for clothes) and the UV (needed for the textures) because it has to be done on Maya.
And because Shinku is not comfortable enough with our texturing tool.
Last but not least, I do the scripting part, never used someone else scripts, I do everything especially for our products so they are optimized for the use they are made for.
C.: Talking about scripts, I know you are a very good scripter, can you explain us what does a scripter do?
M.: Nice transition sis! :)
Well, when you build a house on SL, you also have to make the doors... and when the doors are made, you can hit your avatar on them for a long time hoping they will open by magic, but with a script it works better.
A scripter makes the scripts, basically he will make scripts that will answer a need like "My door should be able to rotate on one of it's hinge, to be opened, when someone click on it or when an avatar hit the door"
I'm not just a scripter because i do more than just scripts, i'm a programmer since i'm making softwares.
When I need to make scripts for a house, I will make interconnected scripts that will interact together, one of them will manage all the doors of the house, another will manage the security like the permissions of who is allowed to click on the door, who can be in the house... And all those scripts will make a bigger system, a software made for the house itself.
C.: Is there some other SL creator you like or you'd like to collaborate with?
M.: I'm collaborating with Neurolab Inc., OnO Zinner (Neurolab's owner) is a long time friend and he needed a programmer for his new projects. We already made some cool things together like the Ganzer Gun, with its own combat meter and fun anims, we did the Manta and the Razorback as well, a kart and a quad, with our own engine, and we did a racing track HUD that allow you to do the track you want, or click on a preset you like and see the track being builded in front of you by itself, like you could see in racing games with track editor.
He prefers to work for a long time on his creations, in order to release something perfect rather than releasing a sloppy product per week, that's a nice thing because on my side I can continue my own projects with Shinkura and when OnO is about to work on something new, we can do a little pause and I join him to complete his project with my scripts.
C.: Sounds cool! And is there something on SL you would have liked to create?
M.: Ow... Well... A lot of things...
Basically when I want to create something, I create it.
But sometimes, some projects are taking way too long, so we pause it and start something else that could be released quicker.
Our goal is one product a month, sometimes we are able to do it, sometimes we are not, but I prefer to release something well finished than something poorly done each month.
That's how my Edelweiss Kitchen was cancelled some years ago.
But you know how it is, I have a real life job that takes most of my time so I cannot give all my time to my passion, but maybe one day we will be able to work at BinaryHearts as our real life job as well.
C.: I wish that for you, bro! How much are bloggers important for your work?
M.: Making the best product is something, letting people know you did the best product and that's available "right here" is something else.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying I'm making the best products, I'm just making the best products I can and I put all my heart in them from conception to realisation, but what's true in my previous sentence is that even if I make THE best product ALL SecondLife would want, if nobody knows it exists and where to find it, it's like it does not exist at all.
That's why bloggers are important to me, they are the main lighthouse that could enlighten our creations!
We are giving them materials to express their art, they are giving us visibility and nice pictures that we are displaying in our store with pleasure.
C.: And I know you have a great bloggers team! Bro, what is missing on SL, in your opinion?
M.: A real 3D engine that could make our creations be exactly like they are in our 3D Texturing Softwares.
More features in LSL (Some good ones are coming soon, starting with LinksetData that will be a little revolution!).
Less limits, I know limits are needed, but when you know that 64Kb is the maximum memory a LSL Script can handle, and we have to create 2, 3, 4 scripts that will be consuming 20Kb of memory each just for the data exchange is a bummer!
That's a bummer because those limits are not working with today standards, creators will just find every possible way to achieve what they need, and it will be using more resources as we need to store the metadata of each texture instead of one 2K or 4K, like we need to use 20Kb of memory to exchange the data between multiples scripts...
If it's about not having 4 times bigger textures on their asset servers because it's 4 times more memory used on their disks, why not just increasing the cost of textures if they are bigger than 1024x1024 (like 40L$ for 2K textures) it would be more optimised for everyone and everyone will be winning from that. People that do not need big textures will use smaller ones because they will be cheaper, and people that need to do big structures with Ambient Occlusion, who cannot use repetition because of that, will not have to do a heavier mesh with faces above faces to display their AO separated from the repeated texture, they will just be able to import their 2K textures. That would be beautiful.
*pointing at the camera* I hope you'll hear that, Lindens. This one is for you guys!:)
C.: Haha... oh my gah, this is called a very direct message! Okay bro, as you know, I end my interviews asking my guests to ask themselves a question and give themselves an answer. Would you like to?
M.: Okay sis, lemme ask me something and answer to myself
- Hey Meejay, was the interview great ?
- Yeah Meejay, indeed it was!
- Splendid Meejay! Nice to hear that!
Thank you so much Meejay, for your time and for entertaining us with this witty interview, letting us know better about yourself and your precious work that makes our second lives more enjoyable thanks to the awesome products you can create for us!

A juvenile Japanese Macaque (Macaca fuscata), colloquially referred to as a Snow Monkey, grasps a twig, takes a nibble, and connects with its inner thoughts, Jigakudani Monkey Park, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
The word 'Jigakudani' apparently translates to 'Valley of Hell', due to the abundance of steaming and spouting geothermal features, cold winters, and steep and sustained topographic relief. The fact that these primates are able to call such difficult country 'home', and were evolutionarily able to survive the winter unaided but by their wits, suggests something of their character. These remarkable little beings are also over twice as strong as an adult human male at maturity. This primate lives further north and survives colder temperatures than all other primates save one - us, Homo sapiens.
In modern times, the troop that lives at the Jigakudani Onsen, known for its affinity for the warm pools in the dead of winter, has discovered a new and less fraught way of making it through the hard, food-less and bitter cold season. This troop has found that if it can basically ignore humans and their cameras and cell phones, it will be fed by Park employees enough to comfortably make it through the winter. The menu? Apples, barley, daikon, carrots, etc. In addition, if the Wise Primate tourists can learn to not disrespectfully touch (would you want to be groped by monkeys? No, probably not), avoid bringing food out into the open, and avoid carrying plastic bags (which these monkeys associate with food), all will be well, and you will be allowed to photograph primates in the wild without fear of inter-species conflict. In turn, the monkeys remain relaxed enough to bathe, squabble, groom, nurse, defecate, and so on, although doing so with a huge crowd of Wise Primate gawkers, selfie-takers, photographers, and general human doofuses.
I came away after spending several hours with our monkey hosts with a sense of appreciation. Appreciation for the way that different animal species can work together to get their needs met in a world that requires teamwork to survive. Our needs: To feel a connection to more than just our own kind, which not that long ago was the only way to live. Their needs: To make it through the forbidding winter while keeping the newest born alive. I also came to the slow appreciation of how useless zoos could become if we, the Wise People, could learn to not jail our kindred species quite the way that we have. What if we created vibrant ecosystems for them to live in? And we could come visit them because they'd learn eventually that they could trust us, because we had finally learned to become trustworthy.
I hope to get caught up with people's work soon! It's been too long... In addition to traveling, I also was paid a visit by infectious bacterially-driven gastro-intestinal distress for the week after we returned. I felt truly as magical as the image that conjures. Adding jet lag and having to go back to work, it was quite a week. Yep, still first world problems.
There are three different missile bases in the area, all of which were assigned to a missile regiment.
After ratification of the INF Treaty in 1988 and after demilitarization in accordance with the contract, the R12 silos lay in slumber for another 33 years. Now unofficial demolition work is taking place there with heavy equipment and the guys are (as expected) not particularly happy to meet strangers with cameras there.
Here, at one of the sub-locations, the guys were a little more relaxed than elsewhere, and so at least a few pictures were possible. However, this silo shaft was the only one that I was allowed to see and photograph.
They even kindly offered me to enter the silo via this newly created side entrance ... but they didn't want me in the central building. I declined with thanks, the guys didn't seem quite as trustworthy either.

Is it all properly planned? When will the bombing take place?
When we agreed. Our organisation will claim responsibility within two hours of it happening.
And what about our end of the deal? Have you made all necessary arrangements?
We have falsified all the information we need, the containers are being packed in two days time, and we have very carefully selected the crew: all trustworthy, all people that know the story.
And when they get interrogated...?
This won't be the first time that's had to happen.
Excellent.
More information is in this case. We've already planned a course for you to follow, and marked out where we'll take control. You won't find any trouble with the Coast Guards, either; we've already paid off the ones in that area.
You have remarkably good connections.
One of the top priorities in our business is having so. And money still speaks volumes; even more so today.
Understood.
Well, I feel this concludes our meeting today. Unless there's anything that you aren't sure about?
Nothing at all. So long as we both carry out our sides of the bargain.
Where's the trust these days?

(Guys, look, I finally uploaded it. Ssssssh.)
This photo pretty much sums up why I love the squirrels at Monrepos. They are cute, funny, entertaining and like to interact with human visitors as soon as they think that they are trustworthy. There isn't much that escapes a squirrel. They know their forest inside out, including all the people who visit the place regularly. Sometimes I wish they could talk and tell me more about the secrets of the forest. Or maybe they do talk and I just don't understand them because squirrels can be surprisingly vocal.
More squirrel photos to come, they even have their own album now. :)
Nikon D90, even though once undoubtedly a world class technological pioneer, cannot be included anymore among DSLRS technology front line ... Just by casting a glance at contemporary DSLRs features one may easily get overwhelmed by the striking differences ...
Many a time I considered exchanging it with a newer, more advanced model ... Yet with every photo I take using it, I postpone our technological "divorce" ... It's that Nikon D90 is so unbelievably good at what it has been designed to do, such an amazing, trustworthy, resilient, productive piece of photo equipment hardware ...
I devote the above seen capture, taken at Paranesti village of Drama's prefecture, North Greece to all Nikon D90 owners and technological lovers ... The bridge lies over Nestos river, whose flow can barely be seen at the right lower corner of the synthesis ...

Another photo of an Arabian foal (I have many). This one was shy when I arrived but after a while she decided that I was trustworthy. Once she trusted me she always tried to be nose to nose with me which made it kind of diffcult to take photos of her. :)

The biggest lesson I've learned this year: TRUST. I've spent most of my life worrying. I'm anxious by nature. I want to control everyone and everything, none more than myself. My foster son taught me to trust in the natural rhythm of my life. My art taught me to trust in the natural vision of self-expression. But mostly? I taught myself that I am trustworthy and that my experiences are valid. Over time, What I say is worthy, what I do is impactful, and how I inspire others is entirely up to me. TRUST, yes, but in myself above all else. I TRUST that I naturally meet my own expectations. I TRUST that I create important art. I TRUST that I am filled with all the answers to the lessons I have learned and will learn. I TRUST that I can pass that on to you. I'm very proud of that. What is one thing you're proud of?
Can you please help me celebrate my new class "Creating a Fine Art Series" by doing 2 things? 1) Comment here to enter the giveaway, and 2) Click the link cr8.lv/fine-art-series to RSVP for the FREE premiere of my class TOMORROW (Oct 27) at 9am PST! It will replay for free for 24 hours.

My small community of photogs had a long discussion about photographic ethics in the context of the BLM protests, cops, race and vulnerability etc today on facebook. I wrote about this specific photo. My friend LC, replied.

ME: I took one photo from Sunday's demo where a woman is looking straight at me and tbh honest she seems pissed. I didn't notice it when taking the photo.
I thought hard about posting that one on Flickr. I did because I felt it's a decent photo and because I came to the conclusion that my discomfort had a lot more to do with ME. And I needed to confront that. I dunno if i was right. It's the choice I made anyway.

This Christmas, the Peanuts gang are performing "The Seven Questions of Christmas" at the Bijou Planks Theater! The show is now reaches it finale on Christmas Day as Charlie Brown takes center stage!
"Why Christmas? We see in 1 Timothy, chapter 1, verse 15, "This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them."
As we have seen throughout the presentation, on Christmas day we celebrate the Lord Jesus Christ, fully God, stepping into His creation and becoming fully man as well. Why did He do this? Why Christmas? So that we can be saved. So that we can be made right with God, by God.
We celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus who came specifically to do the terrible work necessary to save all those who would repent and believe.
"We see the good news in Titus 2:11, For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people" All people, no matter where they are from, who they are, or what they've done, can be saved by turning to the Lord, Christ Jesus in belief. Even, as we just saw, if we are the worst of sinners.
That's why we have a Christmas. Merry Christmas everyone!"

CHRISTmas! He is truly the reason for the season as there would be no Christmas without Him, making our traditions of gifts and celebrations disingenuous if they do not point to the Lord, Christ Jesus.

This photo of the CIBC on the northwest corner of Simcoe and Queen Street West
The impressive building was completed in 1930, a year after the great Wall Street crash. However, the designs for it were created prior to the economic crisis, its restrained but rich architecture a testament to the prosperous decade of the 1920s. It was constructed on the site of the Harris Hotel, an unpretentious hostelry that was demolished to provide a site for the bank. The classical proportions and basic design of the bank resemble a Greek temple. It possesses classical ornamentations and two large Doric columns on either side of the entrance. The north façade, facing Queen Street, and the west side are constructed of limestone. The west facade and the rear of the building are of yellow bricks, with limestone quoins on the northwest corner.
This bank was built in an era in which architecture was employed to convey a pre-determined image to the public. In this case, it was to imply that the institution within was solid, trustworthy, and a safe place to deposit your savings or transact business.

Hello, my dearly-darling friends!!!
I just want to give to you my sincere greeting...and to share by such pretty inessential piece of news, that several days ago - after a big thunderstorm in my city - I had lost my 6-year-old PC-monitor Philips with its maximal screen resolution 1360x768 (www.flickr.com/gp/126872595@N03/Gbkd16)...
Instead I got from dad's job this Samsung SyncMaster 151S - I do not know, how many years it is in operation at all, but having spent with him few days I decided that I do not want for myself any other new monitor - more large and fresh... Even if here maximal pixel resolution is 1024x768 and my Skyrim-pictures for friends from now will be square "babbies"...
Maybe, somebody of you had such thing a years ago...or even has is still? I read in the web, that such "erstwhile" model is quite reliable and trustworthy even after 10-15-... year...
1 Timothy 1 ~~ Paul writes..
15 This is a trustworthy saying, and everyone should accept it: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners”—and I am the worst of them all. 16 But God had mercy on me so that Christ Jesus could use me as a prime example of his great patience with even the worst sinners. Then others will realize that they, too, can believe in him and receive eternal life. 17 All honor and glory to God forever and ever! He is the eternal King, the unseen one who never dies; he alone is God. Amen.
Together - sometimes it’s necessary to borrow hope from someone else who is authentic and trustworthy when my hope seems lost.
What a gift it is to truly be together in the presence of another person, connected in a healthy, meaningful, mindful, validating, authentic, caring way, to be seen and accepted in a healing way.
These peonies were with the flowers in my previous photo—“Joy in a jar”—gathered by our youngest daughter for us to enjoy.

As I look through some photos I’ve taken I noticed a few that I categorized and called “together” (it seems perhaps this has become a new, naturally occurring photo project)—they were photos of two dandelions or two leaves together at various stages of growth or decay. This reminded me of moments with a few people who are of incredible support to me, moments when I was not alone (feeling and/or being alone has often been my experience throughout my life and something I’d often been drawn to capture—the feeling of “alone”) and what a gift it is to truly be together in each other’s presence, connected in a healthy, meaningful, mindful, validating, authentic, caring way, to be seen and accepted in a healing way (which I believe also has some similarities to relationship with God) though it can be scary and overwhelming because it’s so unfamiliar to me. I’ve been thinking about this a lot as I look at, share a few of the “together” photos and notice and capture more “together” sightings I encounter. And it has taken me a significant amount of time to even been able to try to put the meaning I see in the photos into words because it is a very deep, foreign experience for me and I didn’t really have the words for it.

The LL-924 was a trustworthy and longstanding workhorse of the Federation's fleet, but this didn't stop engineers from attempting various modifications. The LL-926 was one such modification to bring the LL-924 more in line with the aerodynamic shaping of the LL-928, while maintaining the essential functionalities and compact size of its parent model.
Now with upgrades! A model I made a while back, but it needed a little extra detail for the 40th anniversary of Classic Space!
This is the most standard Neo-Classic Space design I have attempted. The idea was to do a small craft very much in line with the original 1979 models, recreating the aesthetic of design from that era (not just Lego) by avoiding any of the modern curved pieces (excepting the engines of course). The landing gear retracts.

Watching a pack of piranha slide by in the murky water, Speed Johnson decided that, however rusty and run-down Slow Nellie was, he would rather be in the boat then swimming in the river with those toothy flesh-eaters.
Although, he conceded to himself, if it turned out Slow Nellie wasn’t as sturdy as her owner claimed, then the piranha may yet get a bite at him.
“Ah, a school of Characidae!” Dr. Kilroy exclaimed, when Speed pointed them out.
“And over there,” Kilroy continued, pointing at the opposite bank, “is a Eunectes murinus, more commonly known as the green anaconda. Females can grow up to fifteen feet in length!” he added excitedly.
“Ugh, snakes.” The third member of their little company muttered in disgust, shuddering.
Speed turned to look over at Adelaide Wolfana, the Tracker for their little expedition.
The German-born blonde clutched her Winchester Model 1910 a little tighter as the large green snake slipped off the bank, swimming lazily past their old riverboat.
“How much farther, Manuel?” Speed called back to their pilot, Manuel Rodira.
The portly Brazilian pushed his cap up on his head and looked around.
“Bout’ another half-mile or so,” he said, adjusting Slow Nellie’s tiller a little and feeding another log into the tired old boiler situated amidships.
Twenty miles back on the little tributary of the grand Amazon River sat Old Emma, along with the other four members of their expedition.
The seven adventurers from Johnson & Thunder, Explorers Inc, had flown down to Brazil after hearing of a tale making the rounds in the Amazon Basin of a secluded grotto on a tiny offshoot of the mighty Amazon.
This fabled grotto supposedly had a sparkling waterfall at it’s center, giving the water a diamond blue color, and held an ancient archway, engraved with Aztec symbols as well as some old pillars and broken masonry. According to the tale, the arch stood in front of an overgrown cave entrance.
Where that lead, no-one could say.
Upon their arrival in Manaus, the little company had discovered that Manuel was the one spreading the rumors, and found he claimed he had in fact seen the place. Fortunately, the Brazilian spoke excellent English, and offered to take them there.
After deciding he was probably trustworthy, they agreed to his outrageous price, hired him and a larger boat, and set out.
Now, as the traveled down the ever-narrowing river, Speed quietly began to wonder if they had made a mistake, and the only thing Manuel was leading them to was a dead end, or worse, an ambush.
Well, he thought, shifting his grip slightly on the Thompson sub-machine gun he held and smiling grimly, there would be a very unpleasant surprise for the would-be ambushers in that case.
“Speed, look,” Adelaide said suddenly, startling him back to reality.
“What?” he asked, as the blonde girl stood on the bench, peering out over the starboard side.
“Oh my,” Kilroy, breathed, and now Speed saw it too; the foot-high stump of an ancient pillar, the gray surface cracked and scarred.
They watched the pillar stump slide by, Kilroy snapping several pictures, before Speed noticed the shoreline behind it.
“Look, there’s more,” he said, pointing as a crumbled wall and several more broken pillars came into view.
Suddenly, from behind them, Manuel said dramatically, “We’re here.”
The three adventurers turned towards the bow.
“Oh my goodnez,” Adelaide breathed, staring in wonder.
“Welcome to Diamond Falls,” Manuel said from behind them.
Slow Nellie had emerged into a small grotto, the river in front of them flaring out into the space, before veering off to their right and disappearing. Overhead, the canopy spread out, leaving a hole in the leafy ceiling through which the afternoon sun shone down.
Directly before them stood the waterfall, tumbling down a twenty-foot high cliff into the lagoon.
The sunlight, shining through the canopy opening struck the waterfall straight on, giving the water the look of liquid diamonds as it tumbled down. A huge jumble of rocks sat to the waterfall’s left, their surfaces slick with spray.
“Magnificent,” Kilroy said, staring up at the clifftop.
“Very nice, but have you seen that?,” Speed said, his attention having been drawn away from the falls.
“Oh, vhat iz zat?” Adelaide said, her question already answered.
“Well, would you look at that,” Kilroy declared, smiling broadly.
There, off to the right of the falls, was a small rocky beach.
On that beach, covered in vines and scrub brush, one side broken off and laying against the rock face, was the archway, the moss-covered symbols visible even from here.
And behind it, yawned the dark opening of a cave.

Yes, for those of you who recognize it, this is indeed Heaven's Lagoon repurposed. I decided it would make an excellent Adventurer's MOC, so I converted it before I dismantled the setup.
Hope you all like the MOC, and story too! :)
With a pair of Alco RSD’s trailing; a trustworthy Chicago & Northwestern SD9 has the daily Waseca to Winona, MN freight in good hands on this bright 02-17-1979 day. This view is just east of Chester as the train approaches Eyota, MN. Number 6609 was constructed in May of 1954 and was sold to the Dakota Minnesota & Eastern in Sept. of 1986.
The Memorial is next to Wade’s Bridge in Aberfeldy. It takes the form of a massive cairn topped with a statue of Private Farquhar Shaw dressed in the original uniform of the Black Watch Regiment.
In the wake of the 1715 Jacobite rebellion, companies of trustworthy Highlanders were raised from loyal clans. They became known as the ’Black Watch’ for the watch they kept on the Highlands and from their dark government tartan. In 1739 King George II authorised the companies be formed into a regiment of foot, "the men to be natives of that country, and none other to be taken". That same year they held their first regimental parade on the banks of the River Tay at Aberfeldy, on what is now part of the Golf course.
The monument was unveiled in 1887 by the Marquis of Breadalbane to commemorate the first muster of the Regiment in May 1740.
As the nosy witch tries to convince Drusilla that she is trustworthy, Drusilla can't help but be distracted by the shadow the witch's large ruddy nose casts. The large mole on the tip of her nose is especially disturbing, bobbing up and down as she speaks. Drusilla can barely concentrate!

Aisling Jones and Marzia Sterling had been friends since their very first train ride to Hogwarts. They were both clumsy muggleborns with a proclivity for messiness, especially when it came to artistic works. Aisling, of course, refined her skill far more than Mariza, who merely enjoyed covering every inch of her life in pastels and glitter. They bonded over their loyalty to each other, fighting off bullies in creative ways and supporting each other when they were down. Thanks to Aisling, Marzia became more empathetic, mindful, and learned to healthily handle the negativity that festers in the world, both magical and muggle. Nothing else mattered so long as she had the friends she had learned to call family. Now they're graduating together, and they've both been through hell and back, but they've clasped each other's hands to make sure the other always pulls through.
OOC Note: This is an appreciation post, as my first MM character is now graduating. It has been nearly four years of fond memories, and I hope for many more. Aisling/Softpaw was my first friend on the sim and continues to be one of the kindest, most trustworthy people I know. She works hard for the sim, gets on it daily, and loves it with her heart and soul. She helps remind me why I love the sim and stick around even when I have absent periods, and helps me find enjoyment spending my free time here. Not only just for the fun of writing and the love of roleplay, but for what Harry Potter is at its core - friendship, creativity, and love. I would not be the person I am today without her help in my growing and learning, and for that, I will be forever grateful. My friendships here and the series itself have taught me so much when it comes to my emotions and focusing on what is most important.

First thing about Primfeed is that you can not use a selected name, you have to use your original SL name so I am under Kayla Woodrunner there, darn it.
I've been on primfeed for about two months now. It's a lot like facebook but only for SL folks and a bit more x-rated if you want it to be. You can set your account to G if you don't want it to be.
I like the gallery section because you can choose whether you want to look at G, M, A, or A+. Also you can choose whether to look at only Residents and not include commercial. You can also choose to look at or not look at AI altered SL pics.
Note on the gallery: you can choose to show any picture you want under your account but you can only put in SL pictures in the gallery. AI pictures that is not obviously SL-based will be taken out. RL pics will be taken out. They really want the gallery
It's new enough that conversations start with new people more often than facebook on your own pictures. And also since I like to find new places to explore, if I choose G for general, Residents and no AI, then the gallery shows me what's left which means a higher number of landscapes so I can find new places and photographers. I also like clicking the no AI when I'm looking at creator ads.
The biggest minus is it's new so it doesn't have group capability.
There also seems to be a high ration of A and A+ pictures if you're into that probably because they have a hard time showing those pics on other social networks.
And if you're into shopping and looking for something new, click commercial on the gallery and you'll see a lot of creators strutting their stuff. Only creators can mark their ads as commercial. So I think bloggers showing their pics under their own name are counted as Residents pictures.
If you decide to give it a whirl, you can find me under Kayla Woodrunner
www.primfeed.com/kayla.woodrunner
Note: if you're debating whether or not to do it. One of my friends on Primfeed, after she started her Primfeed account so some of her friends had already found her there, had her account shut down by flickr without warning. Which means she couldn't access her pics suddenly except for the ones she had also posted to Primfeed. Also not so long Snapzilla disappeared without warning taking thousands of pictures with them. Winter was pissed because that was 15 years of history for him and some of those pictures were nowhere else. Machinima.com was bought out and the new owners closed the site so suddenly people lost all their videos. So. I am beginning to think it's necessary to post pictures and videos into more than one social network -- whether it's Flickr and Facebook; Instagram and Tiktok, or Flickr and Primfeed, whatever combination to have a backup place where your stuff is. Because we trust these places and they can be trustworthy for decades but suddenly change for whatever reason and are gone or shut down accounts without warning. It's a pain in the ..... especially if some of those images/videos capture our memories.
Psalms 19
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is deprived of its warmth.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, refreshing the soul. The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart. The commands of the LORD are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is pure, enduring forever. The decrees of the LORD are firm, and all of them are righteous.
10 They are more precious than gold, than much pure gold; they are sweeter than honey, than honey from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
12 But who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
14 May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer.
Borexit. Hopefully a good day for the UK. It has to become better after the years of this narcisstic clown and notoric liar, who betrayed Britain as well as the EU. This guy (with his gang) has done lasting damage to my trust and sympathy for British politics, which I had for such a long time But who will follow? Anybody trustworthy´in sight? The Conservative Party seems to have become dominated by selfish career-people. Not to compare to real "right honourable" MP's and PM's long ago... And Labour?...sigh...
