Let's take to the air once more for a shot of the Toledo Sub's train of the day, Q541. Power consisted of CSX 8388, CSX 4384 (still donning the Clinchfield nose art) and CSX 8315; a triplet of EMD SD40's. Not as easy to get anymore on the GE saturated railroad.
Here, CSX Q541 enters the North end of Troy, passing by the former Cincinnati, Hamilton, and Dayton (CH&D) railroad depot just south of downtown.
The Triple Islands Lighthouse is an octagonal, reinforced concrete tower measuring 23 metres (76 feet) high. It is attached to the corner of a square, three-storey, reinforced concrete structure that serves as the keepers’ dwelling and equipment building. The lighthouse is located on the northwesterly rock of a group of three islets known as the Triple Islands at the western entrance of Brown Passage. It was built in 1920 to guide marine traffic traveling from the Inside Passage to Alaska, as well as for deep-sea ships navigating to and from Prince Rupert. There is one related building on the site that contributes to the heritage character of the lighthouse

The coffee cup is from Triple Expresso- a highly caffeinated comedy show that I saw years ago at the Temple for Performing Arts in Des Moines. The cup's colors seemed to coordinate well with the 1965 Life magazine.

CN 568 slips across the bridge in St.Mary's heading back towards Kitchener after a days work along the Guelph Sub
This looks like some form of Banksia Tree to me but three little banksias were poking out of a fork in the tree instead of hanging off the branches as usual. I thought they were rather cute!
Glasshouse Mountains, Queensland.
Today we are taking a leap that is second to none.
And it's not just about the 8,435 km that the Erawan Waterfalls in Thailand are currently away from me.
There is also the temperature jump of almost 50 degrees between my winter trip yesterday and the conditions I experienced here.
And last but not least, it is also a jump in time. 7 months back in time.
One thing that doesn't change at all is the humidity. Both yesterday in the winter forest and back then in the rainforest it was 100%, but it felt completely different on site.
So, based on these numbers, each of you can now choose where he/she would like to dream. After my walk in the fairytale forest yesterday, the decision is surprisingly difficult for me.

If the swift pouillot posted yesterday is fast, this Roitelet with triple headband is even more so!
From afar I spotted finches bathing in a puddle in a dark corner of the park, I approach for better visibility, missed they flew away, to my surprise he was with them and he too flew away, I pretended to be dead for a good quarter of an hour, and here he was again, all very clean and beautiful with a wolf's hunger.!
I am very happy because it is the first time that I have managed to photograph it in fairly good conditions ....
