Took some photos of Ares for my friend, Kass. :3
Tidbit about Ares. He looks like he gets into a lot of fights, he looks like trouble.
Actually, he's the embodiment of "Courage." And as my character, he got all the scars stopping fights. Never starting them. :3
He's a peacemaker.
Joaquín Sorolla Bastida ( Valencia , February 27, 1863 - Cercedilla , August 10, 1923 ) corner of 59 street (1911) gouache on paper - Madrid, Museo Sorolla - Royal Palace Milan
After the first stop at the National Gallery in London, the most comprehensive exhibition of Joaquín Sorolla's paintings outside Spain continues in Milan.

After the first stop at the National Gallery in London, the most comprehensive exhibition of Joaquín Sorolla's paintings outside Spain continues in Milan.
Little known to the Italian public, Sorolla was one of the greatest representatives of modern Iberian painting at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, making a major contribution to its renewal and opening it up to the climate of the Belle Époque.
Among the most beloved and appreciated artists of his time for both his great technical quality and his humble and benevolent character, Joaquín Sorolla achieved a fame that soon transcended national borders, participating in and winning prestigious prizes at major international events. However, it was the coveted Grand Prix, obtained at the renowned Universal Exhibition in Paris in 1900, that launched his painting of light and color permanently on the international scene. In London in 1908 he was acclaimed as "the world's greatest living painter."

Park Güell
Park Güell (Catalan: Parc Güell ['parg 'gwe?]) is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. It has an extension of 17.18 ha (0.1718 km²), which makes it one of the largest architectural works in south Europe. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí".

Antoni Gaudí
(This is a Catalan name. The first family name is Gaudí and the second is Cornet.)
Antoni Gaudí i Cornet (Catalan pronunciation: [ənˈtɔni ɣəwˈði]; 25 June 1852 – 10 June 1926) was a Spanish Catalan architect from Reus and the best known practitioner of Catalan Modernism. Gaudí's works reflect an individualized and distinctive style. Most are located in Barcelona, including his magnum opus, the Sagrada Família.
Gaudí's work was influenced by his passions in life: architecture, nature, and religion. Gaudí considered every detail of his creations and integrated into his architecture such crafts as ceramics, stained glass, wrought ironwork forging and carpentry. He also introduced new techniques in the treatment of materials, such as trencadís which used waste ceramic pieces.
Under the influence of neo-Gothic art and Oriental techniques, Gaudí became part of the Modernista movement which was reaching its peak in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His work transcended mainstream Modernisme, culminating in an organic style inspired by natural forms. Gaudí rarely drew detailed plans of his works, instead preferring to create them as three-dimensional scale models and molding the details as he conceived them.
Gaudí's work enjoys global popularity and continuing admiration and study by architects. His masterpiece, the still-uncompleted Sagrada Família, is the most-visited monument in Spain. Between 1984 and 2005, seven of his works were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO. Gaudí's Roman Catholic faith intensified during his life and religious images appear in many of his works. This earned him the nickname "God's Architect" and led to calls for his beatification.
yesterday I was all nervous for the SAT so I decided I'd go and take some pictures...

"I'll let the silence speak for me.
The words are like stars unimaginable in my sky.
I can see what the eyes cannot see.
I can hear what the ears cannot hear.
I can feel what the heart and mind cannot feel.
We could reap a world we've sewn.
Lost in imagination.
Lost in a world that is not your own."

The Grands Causses is above all an open landscape with a steppe-like feel, reminiscent of Mongolia and offering a great feeling of freedom. Below, at the bottom of the valley, the town centers of Meyrueis in the South. At the southern edge of the Massif Central the present-day cliff home dwellers.

“According to Detroit 1701, in 2000, the Michigan Labor History Society formed a non-profit to create a landmark for the labor movement, to which many labor organizations contributed. David Barr, an artist from Livonia, designed the 63 foot steel arcs, while Sergio de Guisti, an Italian artist from Redford, designed the base of the monument. The monument was dedicated in August, 2003.
Two steel arcs (which weigh 30 tons) almost form a circle in the landmark, but there’s a break at the top. This represents the work that still needs to be done in the movement. Around the circle are 14 Vermont granite boulders, each six feet tall. Also at the base of the monument are plaques with quotes that speak to the labor movement throughout the years.”

Towards the end of a 20-mile climb out of the Colorado River Basin, BNSF 6933 leads a heavy westbound oil train through Ibis, California. Between Needles and Goffs, westbound trains encounter a steady 1.4% grade making this section one of the steeper parts of BNSF’s Southern Transcend Route.

Sweet Serenity Sunset Transcends Tranquil Tampa Bay Beautiful Beaches - IMRAN™
Even though zoomed in views of vivid sunset shades are often most dramatic, even panoramas of subtle shades and sweeping seascapes have a magic their own. A quick capture of an April evening at my blessed home on Tampa Bay, Florida, shows why Apollo Beach is such an ideal spot.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The first breath of spiritual life is only the beginning of a realization which is itself incapable of limitation...we have in us the power to transcend the bounds of our narrow individuality, and to find ourselves in that which seems to lie beyond us.
