She gazes sightless out to sea,
pondering the gift she offered him
More than once, it was freely offered.
A gift that transcends to the real world.
Of mind, body and soul,
that would lock them together even more.
Yet seemingly forgotten, this gift she freely gave.
She ponders....
..... maybe it wasn't wanted.

R&B vocalist Dutch Robinson in a live concert soon after Montreal resumed live performances. Food for the soul...!!!
On the outskirts of Carthage, Illinois, stands this beautiful old barn that is apparently still in some degree of use.
This image was produced using the newly released Aurora HDR software and Photoshop. If you are into (or want to get into) HDR, check out Aurora HDR... I think you will like it!
After uploading the first version, I realized that the sky was not quite right (IMHO). In the process of correcting it, I learned something about how to blend layers using masks... really neat and a huge time saver over brushing to blend layers! Here's the final version with a slightly deeper blue sky and more yellow hues along the horizon. It is exactly what I was looking for.

“Outward beauty is not enough; to be attractive a woman must use words, wit, playfulness, sweet-talk, and laughter to transcend the gifts of Nature” ~ Petronius
Ibanscapes: Transcending Ajat features 7 choreographies by Andrew Igai Jamu, Mohd. Hafzal Aziz, Albert Sigan Saliman, and Ramles Radin Suradi. These works are derived from and inspired by the Ajat dance of the Iban people (Borneo), exploring the central question: “What is the Ajat of tomorrow?”

“Today, you have the opportunity to transcend from a disempowered mindset of existence to an empowered reality of purpose-driven living. Today is a new day that has been handed to you for shaping. You have the tools, now get out there and create a masterpiece.”
― Steve Maraboli, The Power of One
2013 was great year for me in my photographical and artistic development and I can only hope hope that this year I can transcend what I have been able to accomplish thus far. I have many goals for 2014 but all of them require hard work, dedication, and me, stepping up my game a notch so I wanted my 2014 debut to reflect these transformations in certain aspects and "Transcend" was the result. Thanks for viewing and I want to wish everyone a GREAT year!!!

The peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7
Dreams feel real while we're in them. It's only when we wake up that we realize something was actually strange.
I feel like this is one of those overdone concepts, but I'm pretty limited to my very small room since its so cold outside. Plus, Its always cool seeing how people put their own twist on common concepts. I haven't done a hard edit like this in quite some time so it was nice to get into that editing mode again.I was going to come back to this in a few days and I still might but I was anxious to finish. I just need to get through this cold weather. Expect some new things from me when it warms up :)
Also, I keep rotating this back and forth. what is your opinion?

Took some photos of Ares for my friend, Kass. :3
Tidbit about Ares. He looks like he gets into a lot of fights, he looks like trouble.
Actually, he's the embodiment of "Courage." And as my character, he got all the scars stopping fights. Never starting them. :3
He's a peacemaker.
This shot is out of focus. I know. Unfortunately, I didn't take multiple shots of the scene. Still, I think there's something special about the image that transcends the technical flaws. Is it the idyllic nature of the scene? Is it the gender role reversal? I couldn't tell you. All I can say is that I consider myself lucky to have been at this place at this moment, and very unlucky not to have focused correctly!
True beauty transcends time, as it emanates from within through the graceful aura of one's being... 💎🌸✨

Excerpt from dailyhive.com:
Fans of public art need to head down to Brookfield Place for a new installation.
The Allen Lambert Galleria is now home to an “Into the Clouds” installation by FriendsWithYou.
Produced by Pearl Wagner, the installation explains itself as “Little Cloud and three friends are spending the lazy days of summer hanging out in the Allen Lambert Galleria at Brookfield Place.”
According to the art collective, the Cloud has been a symbolic icon of FriendsWithYou’s work since the conception of the creative.
“To the artists, the Cloud represents a key illustration of the FriendsWithYou mission,” reads their website. “It is a symbol with the power to transcend the viewer to a relaxed and joyous state, revealing that everything in our world has a soul and a purpose- as spiritual essence.
This animist perspective reflects in FWY’s work as a sweet visual soundscape, casting a positive message of happiness and connectivity.”
