Sometimes you just have a mental block when processing a image so best remedy is sometimes to wander away and try again later. Well a few months later have finally got this 3 shot pano roughly where it should be. The last of the setting sun on the hills and the mountains just worked a treat...in the end. It can be really tricky creating a panorama of multiple images and getting the water surface correct. Doing each one as longer exposures to blur the water would make it easier to stitch them together. But no, wanted to keep the water wave effect. That was the most frustrating bit blending it all together...maybe a lesson learn't. Its when you repeat that un-learned lesson that you start kicking your-self...haven't got to that bit yet.

Gritstone rock formations lit by the setting sun at Brimham Rocks, Brimham Moor, Nidderdale AONB, North Yorkshire, England.
Here’s another pre-lockdown shot from a landscape shoot at Brimham Rocks in the lovely Nidderdale AONB in February this year.
It was a lovely sunny evening and the rocks looked great as the sun was setting. Can’t wait for my next trip on the 24 bus up into Nidderdale!

Oslo City Hall is a municipal building in Oslo, the capital of Norway. It houses the city council, the city's administration and various other municipal organisations. The building as it stands today was constructed between 1931 and 1950, with an interruption during the Second World War. It was designed by architects Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson. The building is located in the city center, in the northern part of the Pipervika neighbourhood, and it faces Oslofjord.
Oslo City Hall is built of red brick and has two towers, one 63 meters tall and other 66 meters tall. The bricks used are larger than what was typical at the time of construction, but are roughly the same size as bricks used in the Middle Ages. The bricks, measuring approximately 27.5 × 13 × 8.5 cm, were produced by Hovin Teglverk in Oslo. The eastern tower has a carillon set of 49 bells. Various events and ceremonies take place in the building, notably the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony, which takes place every December.
The Plaza San Sebastian in the beautiful Spanish city of Cartagena.
One of the most emblematic monuments of the city of Cartagena is the Monument to the processionist dedicated to Holy Week and to Cartagena processionists.
It is a sculptural group, made in bronze, work by the local sculptor Manuel Ardil Pagán. It represents three Nazarenes, popular characters of Holy Week in Cartagena, in full size.

A misty morning at Phewa (also spelled Fewa) Lake in Pokhara, Nepal. The morning sunlight creeping out from behind mountains banished the low lying mist from the water's surface; glassy reflections mirrorlike before tourist boats departed from the shore.

Get above most towns in Wales and you see the real beauty of the Welsh landscape often not seen from the ground. To see the hills and mountains rolling down to meet the sea gives this real wow factor.
We decided to jump in the motorhome and take a trip down to our favourite place "Dorset". Despite of the weather forecast showing rain we did encounter a few dry spots here and there. This day was one of the better days.

Another re-hash. This is looking up to where the Tongariro Alpine Crossing reaches South Crater at the dip between Ngauruhoe and the ridge running up to Mount Tongariro on the left which is out of shot. To get to South Crater you have to climb a few thousand steps up what's called the 'Devils Staircase'. It can be a bit of a gut buster...then you reach the crater which is almost dead flat before the rough climb to Red Crater. But that is another image.
We leave a place no matter how we love it for a reason or another but there will only be select faces and pictures that would remain mprinted in our hearts and minds. But think of how much difference it makes if we've captured them with our cams. Jim Croce will tell you this.
An old shot of Japan's enfamous icon, Mount Fuji. I think I have hundreds of shots of this majestic mountain at different seasons, various perspectives and different locations but can only share not too much as they will ceratinly bore you to see them at one given time.

A trip to Yarmouth wouldn't be complete without a visit to Cape Forchu Lighthouse. This weekend we visited it twice on Saturday and Sunday. (More to come) An expensive trip, as I fell in love with a lamp in the gift shop....$290 later! 😃
The lighthouse was constructed in 1839 and was operational in 1840. The original station was demolished in 1961 and replaced in 1962 with the "apple core" tower.

Spent a wonderful evening on the beach in Mackinaw City with my wife waiting for hte sun to set and the lights to come on across the Mackinac Bridge.
A piece of driftwood served as an impromptu foreground at Henley Beach last week for a few quick shots before the fractured sky bled an icy rain.
Chapman's Pool, seen from Emmett's Hill. Worth Matravers, Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, England, Uk
Chapman’s Pool is home to stony beach and crystal clear waters. Due to the horseshoe shape of the cove, the sea is usually very calm here - making it ideal for swimming and snorkelling.

A quick bussiness trip to Taupo on week end made for a return thru National Park as you do. Was hoping for something of Ruapehu but was a bit covered in cloud so looked the other way and the light on Ngauruhoe was just awesome.
