Ramazanlarda kullanılırdı eskiden bu top iftar saati ilanı için.. Şimdinin havai fişek olarak fırlatılan ses bombaları icat edilmeseydi hala da kullanılır olurdu. Kimbilir üzerinde ne kadar acemi topçu askeri eğitildi. Birinci veya İkinci dünya savaşından kalma olduğunu düşünüyorum. Askerlerin daha gelişmiş savaş toplarına sahip oldukça H:E:K yani hasarlı,eskimiş,köhnemiş sınıfında askerlikten ayırdığı emtiadan olduğu kesin. Biga Kaymakamlığı önündeki alanda arzı endam ediyordu. Mustafa Dıramalı ile yanına sokulmuş ve Alman yapımı Krupp marka olduğunu da görmüştük. Rahmetli Barış Manço'nun o güzel şarkısında dillendirdiği gibi diyelim.

Bom, eu tava com uma vontade enorme de passar um amarelinho.. pastel, assim.. aí olhei pros meus esmaltes, bati o olho nessa belezura e resolvi passar!
Mas olha, que esmalte difícil hein.. o ponto fraco dos tons pastéis, é que eles são ralos demais.. precisei de umas boas 4 camadas pra cobrir tudo! Mas valeu a pena :) o Peace and Love é liiindo.. meu substituto do 'Lemonade' ;D Haha

Her hairstyle caught my attention and I asked her if I could make a quick portrait. I shot four frames, this is my favourite, and then she had to rush off. The background is a pink hoarding board and the light is good old daylight. Who needs fancy equipment to shoot a graphically pleasing portrait?

great top, great shiny, drapey yarn, I did also a not too bad job on the knitting. So I think it is a perfect little vest.
But simply not fitting into my life.
After the knitting is perfect, I simply do not want to ravel it - maybe there is somebody outside whose life is more matching for such a nice vest?

These are the cables leading to the top of half dome. The Half Dome Cables Route hike runs from the valley floor to the top of the dome in 8.2 mi (13 km) (via the Mist Trail), with 4,800 ft (1,460 m) of elevation gain. The length and difficulty of the trail used to keep it less crowded than other park trails, but in recent years the trail traffic has grown to as many as 800 people a day.The final 400 ft (120 m) ascent is steeply up the rock between two steel cables used as handholds. The cables are fixed with bolts in the rock and raised onto a series of metal poles in late May (the poles do not anchor the cables). The cables are taken down from the poles for the winter in early October, but they are still fixed to the rock surface and can be used. The National Park Service recommends against climbing the route when the cables are down and when the surface of the rock is wet and slippery. The Cable Route is rated class 3, while the same face away from the cables is rated class 5.
The cable route can be crowded. In past years, as many as 1,000 hikers per day have sometimes climbed the dome on a summer weekend, and about 50,000 hikers climb it every year.

History of the Cathedral.
On August 28, 1998, Metropolitan Methodius (Nemtsov) of Voronezh and Lipetsk laid the first stone in the foundation of the new cathedral.
On November 15, 1998, His Holiness Patriarch Alexy II of Moscow and All Rus' arrived in Voronezh on a primatial visit, during which the consecration of the foundation stone of the cathedral took place.
On April 7, 2004, on the cathedral's patronal feast day - the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos, the first Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the temporary lower church. Since then, regular services have begun in the church.
On November 4, 2009, on the day of the celebration in honor of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, the first Divine Liturgy was held in the upper church of the Annunciation Cathedral.
December 6, 2009 is the day of the official opening of the Annunciation Cathedral.
On September 18, 2011, Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' performed the rite of great consecration of the Annunciation Cathedral.
On August 24, 2012, Metropolitan Sergius of Voronezh and Borisoglebsk performed the Great Consecration of the lower aisle of the Annunciation Cathedral.
From 2014 to 2021, with the blessing of Metropolitan Sergius of Voronezh, the Annunciation Cathedral was painted.
This is one of the largest Orthodox church buildings in Russia, reflecting the greatness of spiritual traditions.
The cathedral impresses with its size and monumentality. It is not only the spiritual center of the Voronezh Metropolitanate, but also an important cultural monument, open to all who wish to become acquainted with the history and traditions of Orthodoxy.
The design of the cathedral, executed in the Russian-Byzantine style, was created by the architect Vladimir Petrovich Shevelev. The external appearance of the temple resembles the destroyed Vladimir Cathedral, which was built in Voronezh by one of the students of the famous Konstantin Ton.

The upper church of the Annunciation Cathedral can accommodate up to 6000 people.
The monument to Saint Mitrofan, the first Bishop of Voronezh, opened in 2003. It weighs 8 Tons & is 8.5 metres in height. The author of the sculpture is I. P. Dikunov. The monument was cast from bronze at the Comintern Plant in Voronezh.
