UPDATE -- November 2013. Drove through Jeffrey City a few days ago and discovered that this sign has been removed. It's an unfortunate loss of one of Wyoming's iconic roadside signs.
How many of you can remember the movie Top Gun in 1986. Well this is the house located in Oceanside California across from the beach that Tom Cruse and Kelly McGinnis used in that movie. Now fenced off and everything around it has been torn down. I think the city wants to tear this last house down and rebuild new in its place.

Finally a break from my job and free time to finally catch the NDP rehearsal fireworks. It's always nice to be shooting with my photography friends again.
Also, if you look closely at the skies, you can see the Moon, Venus and Jupiter making an appearance too!

Usei duas camadas do Sereia como base que é um roxinho cintilante. Sem ele acho que teria que usar umas dez camadas do glitter pra cobrir as unhas! Devia tê-las cortado pra facilitar o serviço, mas me deu preguiça!rsrs
Pra acelerar a secagem usei TC da Colorama.
*Se quiserem ver melhor os glitters aumentem a foto, dá pra ver bem certinho!!

These colorful objects usually sit in the display cabinet. Photographed on the table again with the LED torch,iusing the Canon 500 so that i could upload the photo a little quicker.It has an SD card rather than a CF card so is easy to slot in the laptop.
Following on from last night and the shot of UWV604S, a shot of sister bus in the same location, might well have been the same unkdated afternoon in the Summer of 2001! This time it's UWV614S, complete with roof. Almost seems strange looking back at them in non open top mode! Happily this bus very much still survives and is still in almost daily use with the same operator, Rail River Link on the same route.
Taken with the same truly awful camera as the previous shot, took a lot more work to get this up to nearly uploadable quality, I hope! :-)

This mushroom out front has tipped over. We had a bit of rain recently and the mushrooms are coming out. This is the view 180 from the other view!
Couldn't have wished for this Female Banded Demoiselle to rest in a better position. I had given up earlier in the day with the wind being far too strong, but conditions were much calmer in the mid evening when i decided to return to Colwick Park, it was well worth it. E-M1/100-300mm
