Just wanted to get funky on this one and do a bit of drawing and chill out with the lads, Big ups for Rask, Bonzai and Mr.C painting in there because it was F**kin cold and what up to all the other gangstars rollin around the place. This was done in a skatepark, I didn't attempt the half pipe again this time though... to save myself the f**kin pain of flyin off the board and looking like a twat!

I just want to say I love you......growing up, watching you make all those beautiful baubles..... always inspired me. You are the spark of my creativity.

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

Ooh, each morning I get up I die a little

Can barely stand on my feet

(Take a look at yourself) Take a look in the mirror and cry (and cry)

Lord, what you're doing to me (yeah yeah)

I have spent all my years in believing you

But I just can't get no relief, Lord!

Somebody (somebody) ooh somebody (somebody)

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

I work hard (he works hard) every day of my life

I work 'til I ache in my bones

At the end (at the end of the day)

I take home my hard earned pay all on my own

I get down (down) on my knees (knees)

And I start to pray

'Til the tears run down from my eyes

Lord, somebody (somebody), ooh somebody

(Please) can anybody find me somebody to love?

Everyday (everyday) I try and I try and I try

But everybody wants to put me down

They say I'm going crazy

They say I got a lot of water in my brain

Ah, got no common sense

I got nobody left to believe in

Yeah yeah yeah yeah

Oh, Lord

Ooh somebody, ooh somebody

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

(Can anybody find me someone to love)

Got no feel, I got no rhythm

I just keep losing my beat (you just keep losing and losing)

I'm OK, I'm alright (he's alright, he's alright)

I ain't gonna face no defeat (yeah yeah)

I just gotta get out of this prison cell

One day (someday) I'm gonna be free, Lord!

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love love love

Find me somebody to love

Find me somebody to love

Somebody somebody somebody somebody

Somebody find me

Somebody find me somebody to love

Can anybody find me somebody to love?

(Find me somebody to love)

Ooh

(Find me somebody to love)

Find me somebody, somebody (find me somebody to love) somebody, somebody to love

Find me, find me, find me, find me, find me

Ooh, somebody to love (Find me somebody to love)

Ooh (find me somebody to love)

Find me, find me, find me somebody to love (find me somebody to love)

Anybody, anywhere, anybody find me somebody to love love love!

Somebody find me, find me love

the sunset last night just after i came home from camp was magnificent..i could not capture the full beauty..but this is what i can share with you from my canon ixus50..i love to share the icelandic sunsets with you!

the thickness of the clouds and the colors are something that astonishes me..and to see it life..is a priviledge..this time of night..an how the clouds split the sky into totally different colors..

I'm thinking this may have been modeled after Esther Williams who seems to be still alive. Amazing!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I have been thinking of something I could buy with some money that I received after the passing of my brother and I decided to buy myself something that I didn't really need, but have been wanting for a long time. I decided to buy a secondhand Canon 1DX and whenever I use it, I will think of my brother whilst doing something that I love.

Love you, my little star! :D

I was lucky to be there on a crisp, clear October day at just the right time ... Just me alone in the Sierras (with 25 tourists and a film crew from National Geographic...and my trusty Cannon G2). You can see a lot of history in this shot -- the ledge where a young Ansel Adams, climbing with friends, set up his tripod and pulled out the last of his plates to take one of his first great Half Dome pictures. You can just make out the lip at the top encountered unexpectedly by the first team to scale the wall at the very end of their climb -- they had to hang upside down to get around it. You can see why Ansel Adams often used a red filter in this valley -- with that low red sun.

Half Dome probably has been photographed in exactly this way 10,000 times. So obvious today, but we might not have noticed it if John Muir hadn't been around to admire it, and a lot of us might not have taken up photography if Ansel Adams hadn't decided to photograph it. Here in honor of people who cared about nature and geology. #largerthanlife

To get the sunset positioned over one of the coves on Lake Argyle, we drove part way around the lake, turned off the roadway an dfollowed a gravel road down towards the lake. About two thirds of the way down, the road was blocked, so we hiked from there down to a primitive campsite and then beyond it to the shoreline. However, the water level was higher than I expected, and so we were not able to work our way from that point along the shoreline. A few fish later (caught by by grandson), we had a breif view of a beautiful sunset.

The night before, when I debated whether go to the lake, the sunset turned out to be spectacular. Unfortuantely, I stayed home that night and missed out.

This had to be one of the biggest snapping turtles I've seen--- big as a birdbath....

Children were throwing food to it from a deck.

The smaller turtle (which was actually a good sized one) swam up and started eating with the big one---even had has head next to it's mouth many times.

(And the snapper's head was almost the size of the turtle....)

I was really worried about the little guy, but it wasn't necessary.

---The big snapper never showed any aggression towards the smaller one, and actually seemed careful around him.

Every time I've watched the turtles in this pond (and there are many of them in all types and sizes), they all seem to get along and share space really well. --and if they're not in the mood for company, they'll swim away....

We should be more like turtles... :))

It was warm outside and lots of batterflies... They even were sitting on the warm pavement and were not afraid of the cars and the passers by... But this one prefered the flower...

Nowadays Pops moves so fast that it is really hard to photograph her. She makes faces, and puts on funny voices: usually gruff ones. She shouts no! at people, and is happiest playing football and doing funny walks. She is "a card'.

Hey friends. :) Today is such a beautiful day. I started my day with The Beatles as usual, prepared breakfast, ate it and now I'm here drinking my last cup of coffee before studying. (boo) Even though I have a terrible headache I try my best to keep my mood up! I'm greatly motivated and happy these days. :) If I don't have positive thoughts I'll probably die of exhaustion, so I kinda force myself to be okay, haha.

So this is my mom, as some of you know, she is a summer person like me but it doesn't mean that she won't enjoy the snow and the great scenery it creates! :) Hope you like it. :) xx

ps. I'm genuinely happy that flickr gives 3 months extra pro for free! :D Awesome.

Anzac Day, 25 April, is probably Australia's most important national occasion. It marks the anniversary of the first campaign that led to major casualties for Australian and New Zealand forces during World War One and commemorates all the conflicts that followed.

Missing You...

Union Tower, Bangkok TH

It has taken me so long to get this idea out of my head and into a complete photo.. I tried to shoot this a couple months ago but that version was just not going to work out at all. so many things were wrong with it and I just couldn't create what I wanted to create so I gave up on that one. However, I knew that I wanted to do this photo, I was really excited about this idea. So i promised myself I would do it again later.

Only problem was I really wanted that dress for this photo.. and that dress only fits Lori who has been super busy doing weddings lately and I hadn't shot with her before this shoot for a while.

but finally it is complete. Although, I wanted it to be for Karrah Kobus' photo contest way back where you created a photo inspired by one of her or using a techniques she uses etc. it just didn't work out in time.

I plan to show her anyway. (: who needs a prize, I'm happy with how this turned out and that's enough for me.

This is the photo by Karrah that I was inspired by for this photo.

For this shot I used 2 light sources - One is camera right, behind the subject at approx 45 degrees and it is a gridded softbox it is powered to full power providing rim light and the other is a couple of bare speedlites powered to 1/2 power each to increase recycle time, held out over the water by my lighting assistant aimed at the subject camera left and zoomed out to 24mm. They are triggered by my transmitter on top of camera.

I transferred to Hawaii almost 30 years ago during my USMC service. Stationed at Kaneohe Marine base, I would sit at my desk in hanger 2 looking out the open hanger doors across the bay at this view of the Koolau mountains. Every morning they will light up in the sunrise to display their majestic beauty. I’m not sure whether it is the towering structure, with the well defined contrast of shadows in the ripples formed by volcanic activity, or the vibrant yellow-green colors that I like best. 253/365

Immature Green Heron preparing to attack. For over an hour one overcast August afternoon I sat on a berm watching this young Green Heron hunt. Countless times it jabbed its lethal bill into the water and came back with a fish or tadpole. It would swallow its catch, preen a bit and then continue hunting. This Green Heron seemed well fed and well equipped to live a long, healthy life. In this atypical case, although dressed in full camouflage, I was not hiding in a blind. Although adult Green Herons in upstate NY are extremely wary, immature Greenies appear to be far more trusting. August 22, 2015
