Tiles at Elda Railway Station - April 2014

One of the many tiled panels in the Embajadores Hall of the Alhambra Palace.

This hall was the symbolic centre of the "nazarie" power, which is evident in the refinement and splendour of the decoration. It is the room where the monarch held audiences in front of the grandees of the kingdom and receptions of envoys or other people of high standing.
