“These things, these things were here and but the beholder / Wánting.” Gerard looked at the landscape and venerated it, as though he were devoutly kneeling in church for the adoration of the Reserved Sacrament. The harvest was the Host. Gerard experienced a lifting, an elevation, almost a teleportation: “The heart rears wings bold and bolder / And hurls for him, O half hurls earth for him off under his feet.”44 The poet’s role was to be, as a pun, “the beholder / Wánting”: the necessary (“wanting”) observer to these divine things revealed within materiality, and also the observer who deeply desires (“wanting”) to see the God indwelling.

Again, at the Savage River area (an incredibly rich place, biologically). This time on the large outcrop of rock overlooking the loop trailhead (and on the Savage Alpine Trail).
I took some photos of American Pikas in Rocky Mountain National Park in 1999, but they were on slide film and were not of high quality at all. I've always wanted to photograph pikas again since then. These were the only two decent images I got of these Collared Pikas - two is better then none!

Some pika background info:
Pikas are lagomorphs (not rodents). So they are more closely related to rabbits and hares, despite looking a bit like Guinea pigs.
Pikas are well known for gathering grasses and other fresh plants and carefully drying them in the sun for later storage in their well-protected rock shelters. They do not hibernate over winter but instead live off of this stored food.
Pikas do not handle warm temperatures well at all, and these particular pikas were mostly out of sight when the sun hit their territories. The other North American pika species, the American Pika, is not handling climate change and its associated warming well, and is disappearing from some of its former range as the climate warms.
In doing a little research on pikas, I was surprised to learn that there are 30 species of pika in the world! Many are found in Asia. It would be fun to try to see and photograph them all (IF I had a time machine AND a teleportation machine!).
No animals were injured during this photoshoot. The caterpillar was holding its invisible G-string, which was attached to a branch. Then, you can see a marvelous flare from a marvelous old lens :)
Pxi was on her way to the teleportation fields to journey to Sector 23, known as Earth to most. The ‘infamous Neptunian vlogger’ had been invited to a New Years Bash but upon reading some articles about human parties, she knew she’d need to bring Borg, her ‘attack floof’. Really he was a Glorgite but ‘attack floof’ just made more sense.
“And what do we say when someone doesn’t know how to respect our personal space, Borg?”
The little blue creature wiggled around and in a sweet sounding voice replied, “Please move away from my space.”
“Yes Borg! And if they don’t listen?”
Without moving at all, the creature spoke again, this time in a much deeper, threatening and almost terrifying voice. “Please move away from my space.”
Pxi didn’t react in the slightest and instead, smirked a bit. “And if they still don’t listen, Borg?” The creature’s horns crew a bit as its voice shifted back up to the sweet and innocent sounding voice. “I eat them.” “Yes, Borg. You eat them.”

A transporter was a fictional teleportation machine used in the Star Trek universe. Transporters convert a person or object into an energy pattern then "beam" it to a target location, where it was reconverted into matter ("rematerialization").
This scene had that same rematerialization feel. It was shot through the glass of the old Hardware Grill Restaurant window. A homeless man was having a coffee next to a heat vent in the sunrise at the Convention Centre. Everything was wavering, richly lit and soft. The Edmonton Convention Centre is housing the homeless in the pandemic. It's a convention of sadness.
Jinn Met The Greatest King Of Sin Part 2
Jinn: “Jeepers creepers! It ain’t no fun.
I still can’t believe, it is really 2021.
I owe you one.
My goodness it is finally the end of darkness
After almost 2000 years I finally arise
For you I have a great prize
But let me first introduce myself I am a Jinn Maymun.”
Chucky: “My moon? I never heard about such a name
Are you sure that you are not taking cocaine?”
Jinn: “Never heard of it. By the by can you tell me your name or nickname?
Chucky: “Hell no! You sound like a police! It's none of your goddamn business! My mother warned me long time ago about potential dangers of talking to strangers.”
Jinn: “You are not kind but never mind. Anyway, thanks, you rescue me
I would grant you one wish, just say it.”
Chucky: “Well, that sounds like a load of rubbish.
Buster, if you are Wishmaster
Than I am a Tinker Bell from hell!”
Judas Iscariot the narrator: “Jinn was free so he felt excited, you could hear his heart beat.”
Maymun mumbled magic words: hocus, pocus, focus.
After few seconds our guys disappeared to the new location near the graveyard (close to the railroad station).”
Chucky: “Bloody brilliant we are now in the city of Zadar.”
Jinn: “Holy Aladár, in my time this city was called Iadera.”
Chucky: “Oh heck, I thought that teleportation is only possible in Star Trek.
Can you teach me this magic?”
Jinn: “I am afraid not, you are asking a lot. Many who tried it ended tragic.”
Chucky: “You are something, a truly magician king.
Sorry dude that I was today so rude.”
Jinn: “It's ok. Btw what is a police?”
Chucky: “Well, bloody hell… It's a long & complicated story…
In short police want to hunt me like I am a wild quarry.
It is important that you and I built a peace.”
Jinn: “I always used real magic instead of cheap trick. Before few moments it was just a small act to prove you that I ain’t no freak. Btw who are you, what are you? I never saw anyone like you before?”
Chucky: I am who I am, the Lord of Darkness is my idol
As a human I played with dangerous Damballa chant
It is pity that my soul have been trapped inside this shitty doll
I prayed to the Lucifer but my wish have never been granted.
Don't knock on my door
I'm sinning hardcore
I am Chucky the greatest King of sin
People are scared of me because I am very mean
Mass media call me a brutal killing machine
I like to play deadly games in which I always win
Don’t trust everything that Hollywood shown about me on a silver screen.
I'm not naive fool. If I make a wish will you take my soul?
How do I know that you are not a cruel ghoul with an evil goal?
Btw you said only 1 wish, I thought it is 3 wishes?”
* To be continued

Character Creation
The Shade (Richard Swift) is a comic book character developed in the 1940s for National Comics, first appearing in the pages of Flash Comics in a story titled "The Man Who Commanded the Night", scripted by Gardner Fox and illustrated by Hal Sharp.
Debuting as a villain, the Shade was best known for fighting against two generations of superheroes, most notably the Golden Age and Silver Age versions of the Flash.
He eventually became a mentor for Jack Knight, the son of the Golden Age Starman, Ted Knight, a hero the Shade had also fought.
Though portrayed in Silver Age comics as a thief with a cane that could manipulate shadows, the character was reinvented in 1994 as a morally ambiguous Victorian-era immortal who gained the ability to manipulate shadows and immortality from an unexplained mystical event.
In 2009, the Shade was ranked as IGN's 89th-greatest villain of all time.
The Shade appeared as a major character from the season 1 finale onwards in Stargirl, played by Jonathan Cake
Publication history
The Shade first appeared in Flash Comics #33 (September 1942), and was created by Gardner Fox and Harold Sharp.
Shade received a solo series in late 2011, written by Robinson and drawn by Cully Hamner, Darwyn Cooke, Javier Pulido, and others. It deals with Shade and his descendants, flashing back to various points in his life as he travels the globe trying to find who is behind a plot to kill him.
Fictional Character History
Origin
Born and raised in London, England in the early 1800s, Richard Swift was a wealthy importer. In the course of his business he came into contact with Simon Culp, who hired Swift to import a lion for him. The pair became friends while awaiting the arrival of the lion. It was soon revealed that Culp was merely using Swift in an effort to enact an arcane ritual; he captured Swift and attempted to use him as a sacrifice to the goddess Scathach. However, for reasons unknown, Swift was gifted with the powers that Culp had intended only for himself. The resultant mystical occurrence resulted in the deaths of over a hundred people. Bereft of all memories of who he had been, Swift departed his old life and was reborn as the Shade. Immediately after the events that gave him his powers, the disoriented Shade was taken in by Piers Ludlow, who attempted to take advantage of Shade's state by framing him for murder. Shade lashed out instinctively with his powers, making an enemy of the Ludlow family when he killed almost the entire family. Following this he embarked on a career of questionable legality, exploring the world and occasionally taking work as an assassin.
Golden Age
In his original Golden Age appearances, the Shade was portrayed as a villainous character. Primarily a thief, he utilized a cane that allowed him to manipulate shadows. He retained this characterization throughout the Golden, Silver and Bronze Ages.
Modern Age
Following the Crisis on Infinite Earths, Shade remained a villain for a few more years. Following Zero Hour his character was significantly rewritten. He was re-imagined as an immortal of Victorian extraction, and given a more morally ambiguous, anti-heroic bent. Much of his previous villainy was retconned as the influence of Culp. This version of the character no longer needed the magical cane to manipulate shadows, this trait became inherent.
Rebirth
Following the universal reboot, the powers of the Darklands, previously only semi-sentient, became fully sentient and autonomous. Shade himself became significantly less competent.
Flash of Two Worlds
Working with the Fiddler and the Thinker, Shade takes part in shifting Keystone City out of phase, trapping the inhabitants and causing the rest of the world to forget the city ever existed. They use this power to loot the city with impunity. They are confronted by both Jay Garrick and Barry Allen, and the heroes eventually defeat the Shade and his companions.
Starman
Shade first comes into contact with Starman when he abducts the hero's father, Ted Knight, at the behest of Mist. He soon turns against Mist and sides with Starman, later forming close ties with the O'Dare family, particularly Matt O'Dare. During their association Shade frequently engages in heroic behaviour to assist Jack and Matt. At one point he agrees to selflessly sell his soul to save those trapped in a cursed poster. Around this time he makes an enemy of Neron by refusing to accept the demon's deal to increase his own power. During the events of the Godwave his powers are completely unaffected by the event that depowered most powered individuals. Slowly but surely Culp is able to take control of Shade's body, culminating in an attempt to destroy Opal City, carried out with the sole intention of destroying the city that Shade loves. Joining Culp's efforts are Neron, one of the last remaining Ludlows, and Mist's daughter. Shade is able to expel Culp, but in so doing loses his powers. Despite this, he is able to use a shadow demon to engage in a battle of wills with Culp, which he ultimately wins. Stripping Culp of his powers and adding them to his own, Shade is victorious.
Infinite Crisis
Still in Opal City and acting as the city's heroic, if cynical, protector, Shade spends the Crisis defending the city and its inhabitants.
Cry For Justice
Shade tells Jay Garrick of Prometheus' plan to distract the heroes from his master plan, and travels with the hero to the Watchtower. There, they encounter Prometheus, who is attempting to flee the ship. As he is not a hero, Prometheus has no file on how to defeat Shade, and is confounded by how to deal with him. Donna Troy takes the opportunity to attack Prometheus and beats him nearly to death. Shade prevents her from killing the villain. He later aids Green Arrow in travelling to Prometheus' lair, where Green Arrow kills the villain.
Blackest Night
Now in a relationship with Hope O'Dare, Shade is attacked by Black Lantern David Knight. Due to his immortality, Shade is not killed when Knight rips his heart from his chest, and is able to resist the Black Lantern ring that attempts to attach itself to him. He traps Knight in the Darklands when Knight threatens to kill Jack and O'Dare. Using his own heart he traps Knight and banishes him permanently. He is found soon afterwards by Barry Allen and Hal Jordan, who ask for transportation to the Ghost Zone. He agrees to help, and they locate the rotting body of Prometheus in the Ghost Zone.
Brightest Day
Shade is sought by Jay Garrick, Doctor Mid-Nite, Sebastian Faust, and Wildcat, all of whom seek his assistance in locating Obsidian. He is found in his home in a comatose state, apparently placed there by the Starheart-possessed Obsidian, who wanted to stop Shade from revealing "secrets". Soon afterwards Shade is captured by Eclipso, who brainwashes him. At the behest of Saint Walker he is sought and rescued by Starman and Atom, who manage to free him of the brainwashing. He turns on his erstwhile captor, helping the heroes defeat Eclipso.
The Shade
Attacked at his home in Opal City, Shade sets off on a world-spanning quest to discover the origin of the assassination attempt. At the same time he explores his past, and encounters numerous figures that have been important in his long life, as well as exploring the extent of his own powers. It eventually becomes clear that the assassination was ordered by a member of his own family, Dudley, Lord Caldecott, acting in concert with an ancient cult. The cult accidentally unleashes ancient godlike beings on London, whom Shade is able to defeat by trapping them in a pocket dimension and transporting them back to their home dimension.
The Speed of Darkness
As Shade grows increasingly worried that he will return to his life of crime and jeopardize his relationship with Hope, his shadow powers take it upon themselves to begin committing crimes on his behalf. When this is discovered by Hope, who believes that Shade has relapsed, the shadows kidnap and brainwash her, and entrap Shade in the Darklands. He is able to push some shadow into Central City, where it attracts the attention of Kid Flash and the Flash, who come to his aid. They help him rescue Hope and regain control of the Darklands.
Powers and Abilities
Shade is the strongest known channeller of the shadow powers of the Darklands, a dimension of sentient darkness that he can channel to a variety of effects. He can also use this dimension to teleport himself and others, with no known limits to the distance he can travel; it can also be used to travel through time. He is functionally immortal and practically indestructible. He is intelligent and resourceful.

|INSTAGRAM| |FACEBOOK| Looking at the photos that I took is something like teleportation…As if being there at that moment and truly experiencing all again… Eski fotolara bakıp biraz onlarla zaman geçirmek ışınlanmak gibi bir şey…Sanki orada o anda her şeyi yeniden yaşamak gibi… BeNowMeHere, Como Lake, Italy, 2013 via 500px bit.ly/2BEWJy3
Don't you just hate it when thugs teleport themselves into your house....yeah, me too.
After building a prototype in early summer I finally built the large version I had originally envisioned. Straight form the camera. Looks even better when its bigger
Strobist: 3 blue flashes @1/4 fired to room manually. 1 purple gelled flash fired @ 1/8 to the back room manually. The room was pitch black.
This is among my favorite photos of my recent trip, and perhaps the most memorable. It was also the first time I have had to contact emergency services while out in the field.
Approximate order of events:
1) A male with very healthy lungs was stranded/lost/panicking/screaming for help
2) Since I am not a helicopter, do not own a parachute/hanglider or otherwise posses means of teleportation, I attempt to contact said individual or the half dozen people camping below via traditional means; mixed results beyond headlamp morse code attempts...
3) the guy continues screaming...
4) I call 911 and eventually talk with the National Parks office to get a ranger (and depending on circumstances, a boat/helicopter) to help assess the situation
5) more screaming
6) The folks camping down below (and blowing away part of my exposure) finally start moving toward aforementioned screaming person.
7) screaming continues
8) 2 campers from below reach screaming person, they proceed back to the campsite, another camper from below starts up his boat and blasts his headlights all over the place
9) the party of 2+1 returns to the campsite with satisfactory decibel levels.
10) A ranger arrives on the scene
11) I reiterate the above events to the ranger, he radios in and arranges for a ranger boat to check in the next morning
12) Laughter heard from below, the ranger and I presume all is well (enough), the ranger and I part ways
13) I once again have peace and quiet...photography time.
14) I take my shot, a 31 minute single exposure.
15) I still wonder what was happening down there with Mr. Healthylung von Screamypants and if he got out alright.
Needless to say, an eventful night

As he grew up, Japanese culture intrigued him. It was a way for him to escape his daily troubles, as his family was abusive and he was bullied at school. Eventually, he learned various forms of hand to hand combat, along with swordsmanship, so that he could protect himself and to fight back. Coming back to his home in Cardinal City, he started to call himself Tengu.. Tengu is a legendary creature in Japanese folk religion that were originally thought to take the forms of birds of prey. He considers himself a harbinger of war (like the Tengu are in Japanese lore), warning those to stop their corruption or else. As time goes on, he speaks less and less. His skills combined with his powers of teleportation makes him the perfect assassin.

The third part of a series I'm working on, inspired by the feeling of having your loved ones feel like home to you and the longing to be around them.
Caim (Welsh)
(n.) lit. "sanctuary"; an invisible circle of protection, drawn around the body with the hand, that reminds you that you are safe and loved, even in the darkest times.
Having friends from the farthest parts of the world that I've grown so close to does nothing to help my wanderlust. I wish teleportation was a thing so I could instantly be with them when they're happy or sad or just are. It is one of my biggest dreams to be able to meet all of the loveliest people I have the pleasure to call my friends. They are all such huge inspirations to me and I have so much to be grateful for. :)

(And explored)
I have a Tumblr and that's the last time I'll post it for awhile.
I was tagged by Charity for "10 things about you" so here goes.
1: I woke up early this morning to register for UCLA's Freshman Summer Program. I was told registry opened at 6:00am, and that there were only 100 spots so they'd fill up quick. I got up at 5:45, logged on, and waited until 6:00... No dice yet. Still refreshing the page constantly though.
2: I hate conflict. Of any kind. I stay as far away from it as I can, meaning sometimes I don't deal with things face to face.
3: I don't believe in good or bad music, I think it's all entirely relative. I believe in talented music, and not talented. My favourite hardcore band might not be super talented, but their music can make me feel ready to take on the world like no other. I'm not a big Radiohead fan, but I still think their music is creative, artistic, and took talent. Yeah?
4: If I could have any superpower, and wasn't allowed to god-mode it by choosing the power to manipulate my size, shape, genetics, molecules, etc (basically the ability to turn into anything I could imagine and thus gain any superpower I wanted) I would choose teleportation. I could take pictures anywhere, and visit my internet friends anytime.
5: I have died in a dream before.
6: I don't like chocolate ice cream.
7: I want a Canon 5d Mk II so bad sdlkfjldkfjdldslkfjlskdjf
8: I'm an INFJ personality type. The rarest of all, we're one in a hundred... Yay. xD
9: I don't have a favourite colour. I like all of them too much. Not a big fan of pink, brown, or purple though...
10: I've had many superpowers in my dreams over the years, mostly flight and telekinesis, but also teleportation, invisibility, super speed, phasing through walls, flame generation.... I've done almost everything it seems, besides shapeshifting. (It should be noted I've tried to shapeshift before, while lucid, but just woke myself up. I've come to the conclusion I can do anything in my dream besides change myself.) Also I talk about my dreams a lot, heh.
BONUS: If you stare at the "so here goes" part of this text, back up there a ways, but look at the bottom of the picture out of the corner of your eye, you should see something looking back...
Elsewhere, in the year 1991, the GI Joe Team's computer specialist, codename: Mainframe takes his first step into a larger world as he walks into the TARDIS, a time/space ship belonging to the mysterious alien Time Lord known only as the Doctor!
Mainframe: Holy cow! Big Ben wasn't kidding! Your TARDIS really IS bigger on the inside than on the out! How is such a thing possible, Doctor?
Mainframe: Cobra had already taken over about half of the world by that time, and so began a long, difficult struggle - World War Three! By '89, Cobra had control of 3 quarters of the Earth - or what was left of it! It wasn't much later when THEY first arrived, the Daleks!
At first they seemed to be allies of Cobra, using their advanced technology to give them the edge they needed to complete their global conquest, but then the Daleks turned on Cobra and took control of the Earth for themselves. By that time, there was hardly anyone left to offer any resistance, billions had died and the Earth's resources were shattered from years of war and civil unrest.
But the Joe Team endures, secretly training and equipping resistance cells around the globe, but it's a losing battle.
At first there were only a handful of Daleks, but now they seem to be using the Earth as a breeding ground. Soon there will be too many of them for us to fight - don't you see, you guys are our only hope for survival!
If we can stop Cobra from ever using the M.A.S.S. Device in the first place, the Earth will be powerful enough to fight off the small group of Daleks that first arrived here !

More LoH stuff! It’s been a while, so here are three more LoH members
L to R
Hopper: a meta with the power of teleportation. He was a member of the Saviors from the ‘60s, along with Sir Cumfrence, the first Flyby, and Jiffy
The Enforcer: a single member of a robot army built by Dr. Diabolic meant to take over the world. A glitch in the Enforcer’s programming gave him a human conscience, and he turned against his creator to protect mankind. He is now a member of the Saviors
Dr. Diabolic: An evil genius and former dictator of Russia. He created a robot army to take over the world, but ultimately failed his mission. He is now a member of the Kamikaze Krew, and acts behind the scenes in helping with missions.
Credit to the Kamikaze Krew goes to andhe :-) , go follow him if you haven’t yet. He post awesome stuff!
That’s all for now! Stay Awesome

THIS IS WHERE I WANT TO BE NOW
This image was sent to me via Whats App by my friend Lara showing me the climate and the fantastic landscape of Rio.
Here, I would like to have the gift of teleportation and catapult myself there, lying in the sun and enjoy life, away from everyday stress.

Developing some new technology in the home rotation laboratory. This is a prototype Teleportation defragmenter to be used in conjunction with the time travel machine. Ive found with time travel you arrive in a new time but in the exact same spot as your current launch spot. This can prove problematic for several reasons. With the the teleportation defragmenter device you arrive in the time AND location you wish. Please inquire within if you would like to be a test subject for future launch projects. That is all for now.
The Doctor: Wonderful! All the pawns are in place, now it's time to make our first move - next stop, 1983!
In a world where opression is commonplace, lots of heads will bow and fewer stand up.
Tyson, beast known for his nickname Dynamo, was a young boy from Mauritian-African origins. Long ago his ancestors had been brought to this place to forcefully work solely for the gain of others.
His history had troubled him ever since he could remember the stories and as such Tyson vowed he'd never take orders from anyone ever again! The young boy left his home-island, leaving his family and friends behind. After a time he met a mysterious being and challenged it.
After being defeated hopelessly, the being offered to awaken the true powers hidden deep inside Tyson and as such he was reborn.
A rash, violent jock with little respect for any authority safe his masters. Dynamo Tyson uses his teleportation and his knive and massive club to wreak havoc on his opponents. his anger and lack of discipline often get him into problems but luckily for him, his lover is rather handy with a sniper...
New day new character, what can I say? Dynamo Tyson was conceived as merely a fun tablescrap but he quickly grew on me as something more. I focussed this build on going predominantly g1 and I think it paid off really well.
Thanks for looking, Cheers!
For some reason (maybe because I was feeling I was in another world) when I saw these elevator entrances in T-Centralen metro station in Stockholm, I immediately thought of the teleportation device in Star Trek...
On a more down to earth matter, Per Olof Ultvedt honoured the workers who built T-Centralen in the 1970s by painting their silhouettes (and his own) on the walls and ceilings of the station.
Hundreds of melted red candles await removal from the votile candle prayer stands at the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.
A great trading hub built around a massive teleportation device used for travel and trade between the the 5 major planetary powers.

Like any good tourist, I had to take a picture of this historic monument. It's not anything too brilliant, or magnificent, but it is a quaint, even respectable landmark to commemorate Active World's narrative of when the world was born, and who was its first citizen. There's a bit more that would be interesting to know, such as who this first citizen was in the real world, and what their relation to Active Worlds was. Was this Cy person part of the team that created Active Worlds, or is this the first unique individual that signed up to become a citizen? A lot of questions, just from one statue and its simple homage.
Note: I have come to consider places like Worlds and Active Worlds as being open virtual worlds. These were the pioneers of virtual spaces on the internet, and among the first to quote Snow Crash, even begin to coin 'metaverse' and web3.0 in trying to explain what they are. Therefore, any group that, in a general sense, speaks of themselves as an open world, open life, virtual world, web3.0, or hypergrid, seems appropriate appropriate groups to add them to. After all, these virtual worlds were very much ahead of the game and developed a lot of the aspects that make up our virtual world experiences even to this day. Not only did they have teleportation to different regions, but to different servers, even without utilizing a hypergate, but simply by teleporting to that server, as long as you had that server's coordinates. If you don't agree with this definition, let me know, and I won't post these in your group.
