System of a down - 2 June 2011
As usual, some very bad photos from the concert of the System of a Down, the 2nd of June 2011. I wasn't in a good position, I'm more shorter then other people in front of me and especially I'm not a photographer (and my Multiple Sclerosis allow me to walk and stand up for concerts, but not keep my arms all over others heads without shaking :D) But I can say that I'm really satisfied, because of seeing them Live and because some photos are not so bad.
Yep, I know, there are a lot of hands, but as I've said...I'm short :P

Optimization of Water Distribution System and Reduction of Losses

Compesa supplies water to the city of Olinda, Pernambuco, Brazil, where the combination of spring-fed reservoirs and deep wells has been hard hit by drought. Enorsul Saneamento was retained for a BRL 134 million project to optimize Compesa's water distribution system and reduce water losses by 56 percent. The scope included prioritization of infrastructure replacement and improvement, and implementation of 43 metering and control sectors (MCS).
Enorsul used WaterCAD and WaterGEMS to produce hydraulic simulations that were used to optimize operation of the 426-kilometer water supply network, identify and reduce water loss, and determine changes needed to meet present and future demand. The effective modeling shortened the period for study and diagnostics from 18 to 10 months. Interventions totaling BRL 130 million were expected to payoff within 6.5 years.
