This is a picture showing a part of my 2nd system setup, still missing the TA-F707 ESN integrated amplifier.
The picture was made summer 2008. The two components below are the MDP-740D ES class multi disc player capable to play as well the good old laserdiscs as the normal CDs or VideoCDs. A very impressive player.
Below you can see the SLV-825 S, Sonys high end VHS video recorder made escpecially to integrate it in ES systems. Both are very hard to find in mint condition and were very expensive units at the beginning of the 90s. Only a few were sold of them here in Germany.

Natural art in bark. Kinda' like a rendering of a central Sun with planets all around. (What would the ancient alien theorists say!)
Hiking back down from the top of Hurricane Mountain. The descent was very refreshing. It was much cooler in the afternoon and of course going downhill made for a much easier trek.
The hike is a 7-mile (11.25 km) round trip, with a 2000 foot (610 meter) ascent.

has been so great. i can change up what they do every day. the boys can SEE when they are done. besides language arts and math in the folders, sometimes the boys will find mazes, tangram cards, show and tell prompts, "run around the house 3 times", art projects, research projects, and many other things. i fill up the folders every night or first thing in the morning. this system has truly been a blessing to our schooling at home.
The water system of the hive needs a dedicated team of techs to ensure all aspects of the support network works
my reading system (when in seminary you have to have one) pictured. I use a notecard to keep my place(with the author and book name on top), and on that I jot quick notes and a page number. I usually just place a dot next to the noted text in the book, unless It's note mine and then I just hope I can remember if I need the info again. I keep the notecards in an envelope for future questions.
