A context free grammar with associated transforms in the plane and RGB space made these...
rules like
a -> bc
b -> bd
but never like:
d -> dd
each symbol is associated with a rotation, shift and scale in the plane, and a step in a direction in he RGB color space.
There are to real terminal symbols, termination occurs when the sub-tree would be less than a pixel in size, and the pixel at the resulting position is coloured.
Much like an L-System, I would say.
Actually because the tree overwrites itself in the image, does that make it context-sensitive, in that the result depends on other symbols? Certainly you need the image buffer as well as the stack to represent the process.

Did a test on my D300 to determine how well it defines its 'zones' shot from -5EV to +4EV. Top number is EV (Exposure compensation), mid is the correlating zone, bottom is % black (100% is black, 0% is white, etc).
What this means to you: Ansel Adams developed (along with a partner) the Zone System that systematically labels areas of relative brightness as 'zones'. it consists of 10 zones, 0-IX, that gradually increase in brightness from black to white.
Zone 0 is black and (-5EV on exposure compensation) holds no detail.
You can have fully textured shadows at zone III (-2EV)
Zone V is middle grey (this is where your camera tries to put EVERY exposure. ew.)
Zone VII is the brightest zone that will hold detail. VIII retains very very little information and IX is pure white (the sun, specular highlights, etc)
If you previsualize your scene with these zones in mind, you can reproduce an image that matches your vision without a lot of tweaking in post processing. Who wants to photoshop every one of their images anyway?
When I use the system, i use my spot meter (the dot) and generally either A) choose my darkest shadow and put it in zone II (-3EV), that ensures the shadow retains minor details, or B) in bright scenes (or really contrasty mid day sun), Ill find the brightest surface I want to keep detail in and set it as zone VII (+2EV). This ensures I dont blow out (pure white) a white shirt in the sun.
It's up to you what's most important. The important part is utilizing your spot meter and thinking creatively.
Conclusion: separation between zone VIII and IX is very slight, otherwise, the camera did a great job metering and recording every zone fairly accurately. And who doesn't love knowing that your camera's dynamic range spans over 8 stops. :)

Xiaomi M365, 30km Electric E Scooter Two Wheels . See more tech info or buy it here: goo.gl/fBn0dG
Curret price is US$ 490. The E-Twow S2 is a great scooter and folds to a much smaller size than the Xiaomi. But I have to say, the Xiaomi feels incredible solid and safe, the speed is about the same and this scooter works fine even for 2 meter tall persons like myself (handlebar height is exactly the same as a fully extended E-Twow). The build quality is absolutely excellent, this feels every bit like a solid, quality product. Everything just feels strong and solid: frame, lock mechanism, handlebars, the disc brake system, the throttle lever, the power button... it all inspires confidence. Riding the Xiaomi is also a very refined experience, with a smooth throttle response making this a very predictable ride. Pairing with the Ninebot app on Android is smooth and painless, the app is very user friendly and has a pleasant UI design. The interior build quality is also incredible, with all electronics conformally-coated AND housed in a clear, waterproof plastic shell. The designers at Xiaomi know exactly what they are doing. I honestly can't give this product any less than a 5/5. This is the best electric scooter you can currently buy. Yes there are faster ones, yes there are ones that go further. But as far as trunk-friendly lightweight scooters go, this is currently the best one. It beats the E-Twow in comfort and safety. The one benefit the E-Twow has is that it folds to a much smaller size. Keep that in mind when considering a purchase.

The Soysambu Conservancy includes much of Lake Elementaita and borders Lake Nakuru National Park to the west. It covers 190 square km (48,000 acres). It was created on he grounds of Soysambu Ranch in 2007 to conserve the flora, fauna, and scenery of the Soysambu Ranch; it offers a home to over 450 bird species and 50 mammal species, including the critically endangered Rothschild (or Nubian) giraffe. The land of the ranch was appropriated by Hugh Cholmondeley, 3rd Baron Delamere, in 1906. The ranch still is owned and operated by the Delamere family.
Lake Elementaita is a shallow a soda lake located on the floor of Kenya's Great Rift Valley at an altitude of 1,776 meters, 20 km southeast of the city of Nakuru. Its surface area is 18 square kilometers, although the water level fluctuates. Its deepest point is 1.9 meters; much of the lake is less than one meter deep. 450 bird species can be found here; it is an important stop for migratory birds. The lake is designated as Ramsar Site and as Important Bird Area (IBA). Lake Elementaita Wildlife Sanctuary encompasses the whole of Lake Elementaita and its riparian land; it became a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Kenya Lake System in 2011.
