Yes, I cheat and cut LEGO pieces sometimes.
In this instance, I cut two blue push rails and two flex tracks in order to make a module to transition from one type of track to the other.
The module is 16 studs long, which means I can now have a track configuration featuring both types of tracks without having to worry about how to tie up the loop.
Got my old E1 out of the box to give the battery a charge. Built like a tank and still fully functional.
Also in the box was the original E system introduction book that came with the camera, don't think any companies do things like this anymore.
Shame if the Olympus name goes under the new ownership.

At last, the Contax Yashica Flash System brochure has arrived. These three booklets are an invaluable source of information on the C/Y system. The 46pp Yashica Lenses booklet is from around 1978 I'd guess and the 32pp gatefold booklet on the Flash System is from 1982. The Contax Yashica Close-Up System booklet has 42 pages and dates from 1983/4. They all contain a wealth of information and excellent photos and system charts.

Members of the media visited the International Space Station Processing Facility "high bay" on August 11, 2017 to view the Space Launch System's Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS). Representative from NASA and Boeing were on hand to answer questions.
The Interim Cryogenic Propulsion Stage (ICPS) is the first segment for NASA's Space Launch System (SLS) rocket to arrive at the agency's Kennedy Space Center in Florida and is currently in the Space Station Processing Facility. The ICPS will be located at the very top of the SLS, just below the Orion capsule. During Exploration Mission-1, NASA's first test mission of the SLS rocket and Orion, the ICPS, filled with liquid oxygen and liquid hydrogen, will give Orion the big in-space push needed to fly beyond the Moon before returning to Earth. The ICPS was designed and built by ULA in Decatur, Alabama, and Boeing in Huntsville, Alabama.

I removed a double-page spread of the Mississippi River system from a vintage copy of the Encyclopedia world Atlas and had it framed back in mid-2005. This is one of my favorite maps as it shows many of the places we've lived. It's hard to get a good photograph of it due to the glass.

The work on the Tram/Train system picks up again after the Xmas break with several weekend possessions on-going, last weekend the work was centred just north of Rotherham Central station where Network Rail and Carillion, no sign I could see of any impending doom with them, though the weekend wasn't over and the news doesn't look good, were both out re-ballasting and re-laying the track. Two late night Engineering trains came into the area just before midnight, first a Freightliner working, 6Y31, came along from Doncaster, Belmont Down Yard, with 66558 leading and 66604 on the back, to act as a 'spoil service' within the possession and this arrived at Broughton Lane, along the Tinsley line, at 23:10, ready to come north through Rotherham. The train in this picture, with a DBS class 66, on the back, 66174, arrived a little later at 23:24, on the 6T55 working with DBS 66102 leading into the possession work. This first view looks south towards Rotherham Central, just a short distance away under the road bridge in the background, the stadium of the R.U.F.C., with its red/orange panels can also be seen in the background. This 1st picture also shows in the very clearest way, how the view along here between Tinsley and Parkgate, is being affected by the OHL equipment, though this of course applies anywhere where the traction type is changed to over-head supplied electric.

My daughter, Racheal discovered the Lomi Compost System and bought one for me. She's used hers and is very impressed how fast it works on all sorts of food scraps. I will use mine once it gets colder outside since we throw our veggie scraps into the big compost pile behind the Hoop House. This thing can produce compost in 18 hours. Amazing.
The Novoflex system was designed in Germany in the late 1950's as a rapid focusing system that employs a pistol grip. Before autofocus, this was the fastest focusing system available. I prefer it to autofocus when shooting wildlife because I can chose what I want to be in focus. This system includes 240mm, 400mm and 640mm interchangable lens heads. Novoflex designed the system with adapters for virtually every camera body that accepted interchangable lenses. I like them because I have a number of different camera bodies and I can adapt the lenses to any body I have.
