The system is based on 6 bike stations, respectively staffed by two employees in two shifts. Ecovolis program has proven successful in dramatically increasing bicycle use in Tirana, which, formerly, was a city without a developed bicycle culture. Ecovolis program is the first project in Albania that provides low-income adults with commuter bicycles as well as a donating program for children bicycles. The program recently completed two major steps, opening new bike stations in the city of Durrës and integrating Tourist Information Point Service to the bicycles stations' structure.
History
The Tirana Community Bicycle Albania project won financial support from the George Soros Open Society Foundation Albania (OSFA). An even larger contribution came from the US-based Pedal for Progress organization, which donated 450 bicycles. Sixty of these were used road bikes, which were modified and painted by local technicians to serve as public bikes in the Ecovolis scheme. Another portion was set aside to donate to children and to activists and volunteers at PASS. Still another portion were diverted to the project's Eco Bicycle Shop, a social enterprise which sells bikes for USD 50-150 and reinvests profits for the service and maintenance of Ecovolis bicycles. The main objective of the program was to introduce the community to an inexpensive, environmental friendly form of transport -- the bicycle; to sell used bikes at low prices; to donate bikes to the children of needy families and to PASS volunteers; to establish a bike sharing-scheme in the city (Ecovolis); and to employ financially disadvantaged people and young students to operate the bike-sharing scheme.
System
Each Ecovolis station is staffed by two employees in two shifts and contains 30 -- 60 bicycles. In order to use the bicycles it is required to provide a personal identification document (such as passport or ID card) or by subscribing to the Ecovolis membership Card.
The first black and red bicycles, (also the colors of the Albanian flag) were donated from US-organization Pedal for Progress, (which collect and donate used bicycles). As these bicycles were of different types, converting them for safe and comfortable public use took months of work. The price per bicycle varies from 60 US$ to 90 US$ each. The bicycle is equipped with a front bicycle basket, a behind carrier, a comfortable saddle and a public fender with the Ecovolis sign.
The bicycle stations also provide touristic information to the visitors and a list of the city attractions. Moreover, being a non-profit social enterprise, during particular days the program offers free bicycle service, cycling courses, donations of bicycles and helmets for children in need, bike tours and a bicycle recycle program.
BOLT System offers an app that runs on a standard Android-based smart phone or smart tablet and provides instant communication with the BOLT System. Drivers can view load pickup and delivery information. They can also use time stamps to record delay time before and after physical freight movement to and from the trailer.
Top: Linn Turntable of some sort.
2nd Shelf Left: CD Player; analog out ($20,000)
2nd Shelf Center: Network DAC; knows FLAC, MP3, AIFF, etc. The rep says it performs better than their CD player. I didn't ask the cost, but figure somewhere in the $20k range.
3rd Shelf Center: Analog Preamp
Bottom Shelf Left and Center: Power conditioners
The stack on the right consists of four 500 watt amplifiers each responsible for powering a single driver in the top most cluster of the right speaker and the bottom shelf is an electronic crossover. The cluster consists of a super tweeter, tweeter, midrange and mid bass.
Connection went something like this:
CD Player -> Preamp -> Crossover -> Amps -> Speaker
This was the best system of the show. Not by a long shot, but it was the best.

The Alsea Falls Trail System offers a connected network of roads and trails that currently provides a range of opportunities for mountain bikers. All trails are located between 800' and 1900' elevation, in a second growth forest surrounding Fall Creek, a tributary of the South Fork Alsea River.
The system includes several mountain bike "flow" trails that incorporate progressive trail design and construction techniques. Flow trails within the system maximize the fun of mountain biking by combining features like rolling terrain and bank Alsea Falls Trail System turns. Upper trails within the system have been designed to provide challenging features such as steep rock chutes and plenty of trail texture achieved through the placement of technical rock features.

Tropospheric Scatter, also known as ''Troposcatter'' is a method of communicating with microwave radio signals over considerable distances, 310 miles and further depending on frequency of operation, equipment type, terrain, and climate factors. This method of propagation uses the tropospheric scatter phenomenon, where radio waves at UHF and SHF frequencies are randomly scattered as they pass through the upper layers of the troposphere. Radio signals are transmitted in a narrow beam aimed just above the horizon in the direction of the receiver station. As the signals pass through the troposphere, some of the energy is scattered back toward the Earth, allowing the receiver station to pick up the signal.
Normally, signals in the microwave frequency range travel in straight lines, and so are limited to line-of-sight applications, in which the receiver can be 'seen' by the transmitter. Communication distances are limited by the visual horizon to around 30 to 40 miles. Troposcatter allows microwave communication beyond the horizon. It was developed in the 1950's and used for military communications until communications satellites largely replaced it in the 1970's. Because the troposphere is turbulent and has a high proportion of moisture, the tropospheric scatter radio signals are refracted and consequently only a tiny proportion of the transmitted radio energy is collected by the receiving antennas. Frequencies of transmission around 2 GHz are best suited for tropospheric scatter systems as at this frequency the wavelength of the signal interacts well with the moist, turbulent areas of the troposphere, improving signal-to-noise ratios.

Gause, Texas, in eastern Milam County, was named for William J. Gause, who moved to the area in 1872. In 1873, he gave land and right-of-way to the International-Great Northern Railroad and the town of Gause began to grow. By 1884, the town had steam cotton gins, grist and saw mills, two churches, and approximately 300 residents. In 1905, the Gause Independent School District was formed, the first school district in Milam County. Gause reached its peak around 1915 with a population of approximately 1,000 and then entered a long decline. The population was slightly over 200 in the early 1970’s. The decline reversed slightly as people settled in Gause and commuted to nearby industrial plants. The 2000 census reported the population at approximately 400 but only four businesses were reported. For more information, see www.tshaonline.org/handbook/online/articles/hlg10.
My aunt (my dad’s oldest sister) and uncle lived in Gause for many years and are buried in the local cemetery.

A context free grammar with associated transforms in the plane and RGB space made these...
rules like
a -> bc
b -> bd
but never like:
d -> dd
each symbol is associated with a rotation, shift and scale in the plane, and a step in a direction in he RGB color space.
There are to real terminal symbols, termination occurs when the sub-tree would be less than a pixel in size, and the pixel at the resulting position is coloured.
Much like an L-System, I would say.
Actually because the tree overwrites itself in the image, does that make it context-sensitive, in that the result depends on other symbols? Certainly you need the image buffer as well as the stack to represent the process.
