The Norwex Mop System is safe to use on all floor surfaces. Why? Because there are no chemicals used at all. Here I have used the wet mop pad and water on this gorgeous solid wood floor in a heritage home in Auckland. It leaves a streak free, clean floor that dries very quickly. There is no lugging around of a mop and heavy bucket. The mop has a telescopic handle which can be adjusted to your height (no back breaking work!) or to the height of the wall, surface or ceiling you are working on.
First the ingenious Apt cog and rack to hold the train then see how the up cable goes one way (left), the down one the other! The outer wheels have a flange, the inner are wide to straddle the gap left for the rope!

The cockpit of this new snow plow is being outfitted with electronic controls for deicer and salt spray. There's also a GPS until so the driver knows what areas have been plowed and where he needs to go next. ^bt

I am now even MORE cybernetic. Just started using the Dexcom G6 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) system to always know my blood sugar level without needing to poke my fingers every so often to get my current blood sugar level. By being a continuous system that checks every 5 minutes, it provides VASTLY better information. It communicates with my iPhone, can show results on my watch, and more importantly, sends the data to my new insulin pump which can automatically make certain adjusments to my insulin rate based on the blood glucose level and how it's trending.
In the photo, the large item is the sensor applicator which injects a tiny sensor into my skin. Each sensor lasts for 10 days. The smaller item in front is the transmitter which attaches to the sensor and sends data to the various devices.
The Lego Star Wars guy didn't come with the system, he's just here for scale.

Successful flight test at a chaff and flare campaign of Saab’s Electronic Warfare self-protection system IDAS for the NH Industries NH90 helicopter for the Swedish Armed Forces.

Surprisingly, hoisting that baby up on to the cake board and riser went well. I only had a mild heart attack when I realized one of my wheel wells had collapsed a bit. Now on to make the tires.
Yesterday, i was invited to visit David McConville's amazing Geodome in his wonderful home here in West Asheville. The inside of the dome was projected, from a single macbook, a map of our known space outside Earth. The progression of moving back from the earth to the edge of the universe was a process - complete with informative monologue from David - was a total mind blower.
The progression is in the next 10 photographs, but the scale and gorgeousness of the entire process was amazing.
This is our solar system with the paths (relative in size) of the inner planets, outer planets and that blue thing we call pluto.
A Packstation is an automated parcel locker system in Germany operated by DHL (a subsidiary of Deutsche Post) that allows customers to send and receive packages 24/7. These bright yellow kiosks are located at highly accessible spots like supermarkets, train stations, and gas stations, providing an alternative to home delivery. Instead of waiting for a courier or visiting a post office during business hours, users can choose a specific Packstation as their delivery address and retrieve their items whenever it fits their schedule.
To use the service for receiving packages, you must first register for a free DHL customer account and verify your identity. Once registered, you are assigned a personal customer number (called a Postnummer). When ordering online, you enter your name, your Postnummer, and the number of your chosen Packstation instead of your home address. When the parcel arrives, you receive a notification and a unique pickup code - usually a QR code within the Post & DHL App - which you scan at the machine to open the locker containing your package.
Beyond receiving orders, Packstations are widely used for shipping and returns. You can drop off pre-paid parcels or scan a return QR code provided by a retailer directly at the machine. Some modern stations are "app-controlled" and don't even have a screen; they are operated entirely via Bluetooth through your smartphone. While the service is free for customers, it is restricted to shipments handled by DHL and Deutsche Post, and items must fit within specific size limits (usually up to 60 x 35 x 35 cm).
