Between late 2005 and early 2011, South Yorkshire Police took delivery of a large fleet of Ford Focus vehicles used primarily on local beat duties.
Parked in the now closed Hammerton Road Police Station is YN57 FFH. A model from the 2007 intake of vehicles.

2010 saw the introduction of 3 brand new Ford Transit Tourneo vans which are used on community support groups, usually operated by PCSOs. The vehicles have no blue lights. They have replaced some of the aging LDV Convoys. YJ10JZU is completed and is awaiting to be assigned to its station.

Showing evidence of the significant snowfall that Sheffield experienced in March 2018 is this Ford Transit Connect, YJ10FYR operated by South Yorkshire Police.
Once a common site on the streets of South Yorkshire, the Ford Transit Connect is now an almost extinct site, with this being one of the last remaining examples in the fleet, I believe being used as a pool vehicle now.

1974 Triumph TR6 Injection.

"Chassis number: CR60680. Details taken from the BMIHT archives confirm that this TR6 is an original UK car that was produced in Mimosa yellow with Chestnut Ambla interior trim. It's factory options included overdrive and static seat belts. The vendor is warranting the mileage of 20,656 which is supported by every MoT from when first due in 1977 until 2014, MoT history from 2015 until 2018 when last issued, the original service passport, owner's correspondence, receipts, bills of sale and copy older V5s. Eight registered owners from new."
Sold for £28,090 including premium.
Quite a unique vehicle is YN22AZA. It is a BMW 5 Series estate. South Yorkshire Police received a large batch of saloon 5-series' in 2019, and had a few 3-series estates, but a 5-serie estate is a bit of a rarity.

During the Ford contract between 2005-2011, the main beat vehicle was the Ford Focus, however a steady stream of Ford Transit Connects were introduced onto beat duties. Obviously the Ford Focus's had some advantages over these, however one advantage with these vehicles was the introduction of a cage in the back which would mean a full size public order van would not have to attend incidents which would require a prisoner to be transported in a cage to the police station. YJ10FYR is one of the Ford Transit Connects used by the force.
