A super small magnetic switch. The magnet is the piece without wires. The magnet closes a reed switch housed in the part with the wires. Closeup of a flow switch. Completes a circuit when fluid flows through it. I took this picture for an industrial product show with an art theme.

That's a standard 3-way switch. The pickups are covered with lacquered tweed, a design element that is protected by registration with the US Patent & Trademark Office. The pickguard is wood with fine lacquer checking that doesn't show up in photos. Standard tuneomatic on a floating bridge.
