...I'm sure you can see the family resemblance here.

I couldn't let groundhog season come to a close without posting this shot from earlier this year. This is a mother groundhog with two of her four sweet kits at one of the entrances to their burrow.

Sure sign of spring. The paddlers are out. Don't fall in - water temperature 3 degrees C not balmy nor is outside temperature of minus 3 degrees C.

I sure did have fun taking all these snow pictures the other day. That snow is no more than a memory now.... and one fist size blob in the driveway where I cleared the car off! It's been spitting tiny little white pellets off and on today that might give us a half inch in .... oh, 25 years or so!

Are you sure they are supposed to act this way?

not sure exactly when, but it was sometime back when i had that apartment over at Voroznia. i just remember her mentioning “neighbor.” Lol, told y’all, i forget a lot. but i can picture it: me on my balcony, her on hers, yelling "hello!" from across the way. sounds about right.

i won’t pretend we’ve had deep convos or that i know her inside and out. but what i can say is she’s always been kind. always says hi, and whenever we do talk, it’s easy and natural. even with a bit of a language barrier.

just catching a photo of us hanging out, escaping the noise for a bit. don’t ask me what’s on her phone though... that’s her story to tell. my lips are sealed 😏

thanks girlie 💕

Not sure how I feel about not having the ability to crop as much with the A9. Actually the Barn Swallow wasn't cropped all that much - he really let me get that close!

Sure, I'll pose for you

On this lovely summer day

Croon you a tune, too

Not sure what this guy is doing here. He was here a few days, in this area in particular. The funny think is it spends a few months a year with a little water in it but for the most part its dry. I can't image there are any fish there. I guess a Tadpole or two could be in there and maybe that is what he has been eating.

She was warming herself by the fire. That special night was coming soon. She wasn't quite sure what to make of the whole thing. Her little piggy friend seemed just as perplexed.

"All I really know," she began, "is that when the weather gets colder, some wait with excitement as a man makes his way down chimneys."

She looked down at her little friend's grumpy face. "You don't like your outfit? I think you look wonderful!"

There was a soft sound coming from behind her and she grinned slightly. "I am still quite perplexed myself, but it is always nice to meet new friends."

The noise behind her grew louder still as the fire went out.

"OH! It's you! Welcome back my friend, it is good to see you again..." she said warmly.

I had the prompt of yellow for the Macro Monday group so I experimented with the yellow gel on my flash and a couple of yellow props. I decided to use one image for my 365 and the other for the Macrro Monday group.

Sorry if i forget Someone

Sure looks like he trailing geep is putting out a cloud at St. Ignace as 403 and 2408 go about there chores on March 27, 1981 but all that smoke is from the Chief Wawatam which the pair of geeps are unloading.

Not sure if these are Long or Short billed Dowitchers.

One of the challenges of photographing birds at a nature park are the amount of people. Not all of the people who visit nature parks are bird photographers or birders and they can make a challenging situation even more so. Nothing like a screaming child to frighten the wildlife away.

Sure was a stunning day in Christchurch today.. they Autumn colours were so beautiful in the wonderful sun. May 7, 2016 Mona Vale New Zealand.

Not sure why i have not posted this one yet .

I'd sure hate to break down here

Nothin' up ahead or in the rearview mirror

Out in the middle of nowhere knowin'

I'm in trouble if these wheels stop rollin'

So God help me keep me movin' somewhere

Dont let me start wishin' I was with her now

Freddie’s little excursion amongst (or in) the Thameside creeks which were running dry (but not dry enough). Fortunately for you the viewer, photographs don’t convey smell.

To clarify some things:

- I made this to show myself and others that I'm still capable of making nice weapons in PMG.

- I'd like to apologize again for what I did and didn't.

- I know Jake likes this weapon.

- I probably won't be a full active member again, but I'll see what I can do. I really miss the community.

- Thanks for the positive feedback on the WIP.

Not sure if I like this or not, no real centre point of interest to catch the eye. All CC welcome. Taken this evening at Helen's Bay County Down.

Sure does get crowded on this here lake. Glad I missed you fellas.

Not sure what it is but the Treecreeper (Certhia familiaris) wasn't letting go

I'd wanted a Nuthatch today, but still unwell and only managed a few photo's before the coughing got too much and I had to go in again.

Well, not quite but it sure looks like this Snowy Egret is practicing!

humm, not sure, but I think I heard the sim is closing/moving?

would be a shame cause it's beautifully calm and peaceful (and the Bagatelle shop is just showing awesome pieces of jewellery).

Une sim très reposante et imaginative, peut-être sur le point dedéménager/ fermer (j'ai du mal, avec mes milliers de messages qui "cappent", à garder le fil).

The photo itself isn`t much, but it makes you think at what you are looking at for a while.

Sure, there's always deer running around the park, but it's really rare to come up to one lazing about.

I am not sure which room my 8 grandkids like best, my music room or my art room! At ages 5-14 now the art they create is higher quality than the music, but I have high hopes for continued improvement! The music room has a Yamaha piano, 2 guitars, a mandolin, ukulele, thump harp, penny whistle, and various sizes of recorders and about 8 harmonicas! Also a Ghanaian drum and other small shakers. I have gone through phases of time when I have focused on different art forms. I got my college degree in Theater and loved musicals. I got married at age 20 and quickly had to find a way to make enough money to support a family. The job I stumbled into was working for UPS. So early on to keep my mind from going numb from repetition, I started writing songs while driving. In the 1990’s, I wrote 7 musicals with about ten songs in each along with the dialogue. Most were for use with my church children’s choir. Here is a link to my favorite of the bunch - Christmas is Sensational! vimeo.com/64349568

Not sure when I'll tire of shooting the kingfishers at Bathpool moorings and along the canal. Not just yet anyway.

Not sure what we have here , but best guess using plant.net puts it as " Amaryllis Belladonna " . Just something I spotted coming out of Trelissick Gardens getting back to The Engine House before it tipped it down and I was without any sort of coat . However , I could not pass this by being the brightest flower I had seen that afternoon . Silly me though forgot to check the ID label in my haste !!

Another shot of Peppa,

Peppea was not sure what to do when she faced big wave's for the first time.

She would stand there waiting to go in, then a wave came and she ran a mile lol.

This shot is peppa unsure weather to go in the water.

She evetually did and enjoyed it so much.

Thank's everyone!!

Making sure I didn't get too close to junior who was on the ground nearby.

Sure, it's a selfie X 2 😉

Made sure I got inworld today to visit the incredible interactive exhibition by the gorgeous Melodious Source. Beautiful rezzable installation with Mel's awesome artwork ~ was a fantastic experience.

I sat down to take it all in and noticed the light shining down behind me looked like the wing of an angel, so I took a quick snapshot.

Angel of Pain Photo Contest 2024: Loneliness

Loneliness - Echoes in the Mist

I stood there, letting the rain blur the lines between me and the world around me. The quiet of Angel of Pain Island felt like it was breathing with me—each step, each thought dissolving into the mist. For a moment, I wasn’t sure where I ended and the landscape began..
