Sunset...

As the Earth rotated at about 1000 miles per hour and the Sun appeared to go down into the horizon, several (and by "several" I mean "a lot"!) of the Le Canonniers guests settled in at the beach for the daily show that Nature puts on all around the globe... At Pointe aux Canonniers, Mauritius, it's a particularly beautiful show :)

I have just got my first colour rolls of film back from the Mamiya C330.

This was taken at low tide and sunset on Brighton beach just by the west pier.

I think i'm still getting used to the camera, as i was only happy with about five of the shots, and a lot of them were slightly out of focus (the focus was just behind the subject, i think its out) I'm also looking forward to putting some black and white as the colour stuff was a bit to natural looking for me. I either like it to be over saturated or desaturated. I guess that it takes a while to get used to a camera.

The Wst coast of Florida where the sun set over the Gulf of Mexico is really sunset heaven to me. Everynight the sky is a different shade , I guess this would be dades of salmon pink. the next eve it was lavender.
