This is looking towards the end of the Oxendon tunnel on the Brampton Valley Way, a disused railway line connecting Market Harborough to Northampton.

I cycled it's length and back today, a total of 32 miles with a lot of lingering flood water from Storm Bert at the weekend, especially around Northampton.

Inspired by one of my favorite pictures - I am still searching for the similar mood, but this one I'd like to show you :) I noticed "my" lantern at the left side of the "original" has gone, and because of the nice sunshine of that afternoon I did it without the column. The arches don't look as monumental as in the first one, the people are too close. And the lamps don't have starlets - I still have no clue when I have to show up, but I let's see if I catch them another time ;-) Anyway, to me it is another lovely scene with gorgeous sunlight, and with Sunlight Explorers.

I find this interesting. I like how as the sun was setting and the sunlight was pushing through the pedals of these roses. I try to title my photos and for this particular capture I like “Sunlight Through Roses.” There’s a certain warmth and attraction that comes together in this capture. Gratitude and Kindness are present in all of our works if we look closely. Thanks for viewing my photos.

i ' ve chosen the Tele as macro. In manual mode i closed the aperture to a maximum to reduce light and kept ISO as low as possible and than adjusted shutterspeed. Focus was set on the flower of course.

Sunlight amazes me after months of rain and fog. This is a slinky, "a precompressed helical spring toy invented by Richard James in the early 1940s. It can perform a number of tricks, including travelling down a flight of steps end-over-end as it stretches and re-forms itself with the aid of gravity and its own momentum, or appear to levitate for a period of time after it has been dropped."

But I simply wanted to play with the bokeh light and shadows, for now.

I took this shot and got in to drive away, on the road something I have never seen as the grid got lined with the sun, shadows cast down from the lines causing the dark shadow lines in X down, there was no place to pull over for second shot and it only last maybe 30 seconds and the lines drifted on.

I wish I had a more "proper" camera with me that day
