This image I clicked in the robbers cave, near the town Dehradun in the lower Himalaya, India, it was early in the morning, the air was full of moisture and the temperature was already 30 degree, we entered a cooling small river, what a pleasure in this heat and then I saw this wonderful szene, the whole cave was filled with sunrays, I never have seen such a beauty before...
I don't have an ID on this little bird spotted high in the treetops one day last month, but I liked the way that it was illuminated by the late afternoon sun.
Addendum: Thanks to Andy Gant for IDing this bird as a female Eastern Bluebird.

I love rain, but seeing sunlight this morning prompted a need to capture little finches in a rhododendron.
Experimented with a subtle, I hope, vignette to lessen the many buds and twigs.

Now I'm ready for rain. Taken with my new favorite Laowa 2x 60mm rental lens from www.lensrentals.com, now purchased for very little. (I have no connection the the distant company.)
I know this looks bright, but the histogram shows highlights below the blown-out level ;-)
